Good at a price

I downloaded this app so I could record myself shushing and let it play on a loop for a set amount of time. It does do that.

However, you MUST have the microphone turned on your phone while the app is running for you to play the audio. AND when the app is on in the background my speaker levels start constantly moving up and down on their own. This has made my phone get incredibly hot to the touch while I sleep. This only happens when the app is running in the background (like when I turned it on to calm and then fell asleep). I wish I could keep it but I’m going to need to get rid of it.

Glad you used “My Voice” to play your own sound recording. Please try playing with “Play Now”, and without many other audio apps running at the same time. You need to use the microphone to record your voice, but you don’t need it to be on to simply play the sound. And nothing in this app moves the sound like you describe. Green noise and coqui frog sounds wanted

Brown noise is my go to but sometimes it freezes and won’t play so I have to select another noise then go back to get the brown noise to work-this happens a lot.That’s why I knocked down a star. Would like a green noise and coqui frogs as options as well

Almost perfect!

Really good library of sounds! Some of them work almost instantly to calm the baby and help to sleep. It is a bit annoying to have to decline the upgrade Every time, & mostly my gripe with that is you have press “cancel “ to decline the upgrade , which when your in a panic to calm to baby is not great. But I guess that’s totally expected for a free app.

Change the Name

There’s no shhh sound like the real Shusher! I wanted the Shusher that lasted longer, and the name of this app fooled me. It has Lots of noises if that’s what you want, but if I did I’d buy a sound machine. Also requires the app to be open which I hate.

Hmm.. Tap “My Voice” to record your “shhh” sound. You can also mix your “shhh” sound with up to 5 other sounds. This app has been around for many years, helping babies and their parents sleep well!

AMAZING!!!

This app made my baby fall win less than 5mins. And there are rarely any adds. The free version only has about 10-15 options. Overall a great app

Little and Older Ones

The Baby app is a great way to get ready to to sleep. Its subtle sounds are really helpful to calm down a restless night when your mind is overwhelmed by all the stress that you have.
Although it’s title is for the Baby and now with the addition of recording your voice to soothe the little ones, it’s other sources of sound is effective for everyone.
It’s a wonderful app that lets you easily calm down and quash your anxieties for an essential nights sleep.

It does, and with your voice! Please tap “My Voice” and record your own “shhh….” or whatever your baby loves. This is much better than a canned stranger’s voice! J’ai découvert que mon premier enfant aimé les bruit blanc, je suis tomber par hasard sur cette application magique je l’ai utiliser jusqu’à qu’il puisse dormir tout seul. Ma fille âgée de 5 mois aime aussi les bruits blanc du coup je l’ai retrouver et c’est miraculeux.

Box fan rocks

The box fan works so well it’s crazy. Lots of options. The only way to make this app better is if they add a vacuum sound. Puts the baby out in seconds.
