What's New in Baby Sleep Tracker & Diary
1.1.4

What belongs together. • Whether a day sits "in range" is now judged by the time actually slept: wakings you log with a duration are subtracted. The diary and the protocol keep showing time in bed. • When a night's wakings add up to an hour or more, the morning nap card says so: signs of tiredness may come earlier than the window suggests. It does not move the time itself. • Log a night in several blocks — with a break around midnight — and it now counts as one night. The night-sleep balance and the first sleep window in the morning match what a single entry would have given you. • With no night logged yet, the recommended bedtime stays on tonight — even once the time has passed. It no longer jumps to tomorrow. • Reminders tidy up after themselves: when the day switches from nap to evening or back, the notices that no longer apply are removed. • "Sleep amount in context" shows the reference range for your child's age and where your average sits in it — instead of a comparison with other children. • Restoring a backup checks the whole file before it writes anything. • The Live Activity now shows a small moon in the Dynamic Island instead of the running timer — the time stays on the Lock Screen, and you can switch it off entirely in Settings. • The app no longer asks for notification permission the moment you first open it: it asks once it has something concrete to tell you, and says what that is beforehand. • The wakings of a running night can now be tapped and corrected under "Capture interruption" — start, end and reason — without ending the sleep first. "Asleep again" shows both times too. • On a day without a nap, the recommended bedtime nets the night's awake time: a later morning after a broken night no longer pushes the evening back one for one. The nap card names a broken night from 30 minutes awake or three wakings.
