Best $1 I’ve ever spent!

We are on our fourth night using the app. The first night it took two hours and 8 checks. Tonight it took us 45 minutes and three checks. Everyone has more energy because baby is finally able to get a full nights rest.

Works!

Day 5 and our 9 month old slept 12 hours straight. He used to be a good sleeper, but totally regressed when he started teething and never went back. In 5 days of using this app he slept through the night. What I love most about this app is the simplicity and accountability. I tap when he goes to sleep, and tap when he cries. Then, the app notifies me when it’s time to check on him. I used to say “ok, I’ll check him in 5 minutes” but only wait for two minutes because it’s so hard to hear baby cry. Now, I have a concrete timer that lets me know when it’s time. I also love that it progresses through the days on its own, so the wait windows on day 2 is longer than the wait windows on day 1. Like the Ferber method. I downloaded a different app that had better graphics but I liked this one way better.

Only thing that worked for us

This app was amazing and the only thing that worked for my family in sleep training. I would definitely recommend it to any parents out there dreaming of sleep.

Fantastic

Tried it on our 8 month old with the Cry It Out method (letting him cry) and by the night 4-5 he was barely crying when we would put him down. Only problem was that he could now stand up on his cot so we had to persevere. Maintaining same bed time routine each night also helped. Recommended it to a friend and it worked a treat for her too.

Not a trainer at all

This is more a sleep time recorder. It does nothing more than let you time babies sleep... so disappointed

Working wonders on our 5 month old

This app is awesome and started working for us ON NIGHT 1! And she keeps sleeping longer and crying less every night since then (now on day 5). Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the log layout is a bit overwhelming to look at and could use some design work. It would also be awesome for cloud sync where my wife and I could use the app simultaneously

Nice timer, could be improved

I'm currently sleep training my 6-month-old son and this is a nice timer app. The log is confusing and could benefit from some simplification (way too many numbers). Also would be nice if the app credited Dr. Ferber for his "progressive waiting" method of sleep training. Would be nice if you could insert a photo of your own child into the app (crying face or sleeping face maybe?).

Crying doesn't always work

Good for tracking how many times baby has woken up or started crying and how long it has taken them to go back to sleep. There is very little information about sleep training itself and other methods than the 'popular' CIO. What's best for baby needs to be addressed which means a section with other methods since not every baby responds well to CIO. There could also be easier editing if parents choose to allow their baby to cry.

A sleep deprived mum's best friend

At 11 months my toddler had broken me. Waking every hour every night! Sleep training became very necessary but previous attempts were very rough on all of us and didn't stick. This timer on this app takes the guesswork out of when to go in and when to stay out. I can't think straight to make these kind of decisions in the night and this app does it for you. I had my first ever block of five hours sleep on the first night and continue to make rapid progress. I admit I don't really need to look back at the logs at this point but enjoying the app. Thanks

Good but needs improvement

It's pretty good. The timer is really helpful. My main complaint is that if you're following the official Ferber Method and the baby wakes up after having been asleep you're supposed to re-start your check in schedule/timing from the beginning. This app doesn't re-start the timing schedule if she wakes up in the night. So I have to click "unsuccessful" each time in order to re-start which is kind of disheartening when you're in the trenches of sleep training. More positive feedback after each check in would be useful too since leaving your baby crying in her crib is so difficult.

Ok but not for toddlers

Brought this app to monitor sleeping patterns while training my toddler. Doesn't really work for walking toddler who claim out of beds. But you can keep track on this of sleep/crying times over the days your training to see the improvements.

Worked like a charm

I know it will not work for everyone but had our little guy set after about 4 nights. The app walks through the method and makes it easy to track the time before check ins.

Broken

Does not work past the first 1 minute interval.

Will not open

App crashes immediately after displaying splash screen.

Don't waste money

Payed for this and it won't work!! I know it's only 79p but that's not the point.

Very helpful!

This app is great! We have only been using it for four days and our 3-month old is already sleeping better during naps and through the night. The timer is really helpful with figuring out when to check on the baby. Would definitely recommend!

Good ap, two little suggestions

I love this app! I found it very useful for sleep training my little guy. My only complaint it that, with this app, your baby is either crying or asleep. I would have liked to have the ability to track the time he was awake, but not crying. My little guy liked to talk a lot before sleeping and when he woke up at night. I didn't feel the need to check on him because he wasn't upset, but I didn't want that time counted in the total sleep time. Also I think the log could be condensed a bit to make it easier to see the trends from day to day. Otherwise great!
