This app is a scam. Save your money. Just use the record function on your phone and press play on your stuffed animal. That is literally all this app does. Again, DO NOT Purchase.

Pointless

The expectation is that you play the heartbeat next to your phone to record it and then it just gets stored in an AWS S3 service. Just record it in voice memo and save to iCloud and save a buck.

Awful

I went to an ultrasound place during the last month of my pregnancy and they gave me a bear with the baby’s heartbeat. They told me to download this app incase the recording accidentally gets erased from the bear. I paid money to use this app and have it always save my baby’s heartbeat. I log in now 9 months later and it’s GONE. I don’t know what deal the ultrasound place has with this company but it’s a scam. Save your money. I should add I work for a cell company so I’m very well versed on cloud storage etc. This was a BAD experience and there’s no “contact us”’option for possible assistance locating the file. Buyer’s beware.

Do Not Download This App

This is just a voice recorder. It asks you to hold the microphone next to the bear and record the sound like that. Just use the built in recorder on your phone. Don’t wast 99p.

DO NOT BUY

Literally I thought it was Bluetooth back up to recording… nope it is just an audio recorder that you already have for free in voice memo. Don’t be a dummy like me!!! Wish I could get my 99 cents back.

So, if your phone breaks, you'll still always have your baby's heartbeat waiting for you in our cloud. We've just updated the app with version 3.1.0 and enhanced some of the apps functionality, including improving how you can share the heartbeat audio with loved ones.

Stupid App!

Your phone already has EVERYTHING this app can do. This is so dumb. It literally only RECORDS what you have physically already. No audio FROM the ultrasound, you have to record it yourself….

I'm so sorry there was confusion over the purpose of the app. We backup the heartbeat into our robust cloud for safekeeping. Even if your phone breaks, your baby's heartbeat recording will always be accessible through the app on any device. You can use the app while at the ultrasound appointment to directly record the heartbeat. Or you can use the sound module that comes with your Heartbeat Animal to play into the app to backup your baby's heartbeat.

Waste of money - should be a no star

I bought it like any excited mom would after buying the heartbeat bear from Precious Previews. I thought I would be getting the audio file of the heartbeat but only to be told I need to get on this app. I at least thought the recording of my baby’s heartbeat could be accessed from the recording, but I have to play the bear to record it… I could have done that for free in a voice memo. Complete waste. Wish I could return the app. I’ll never use this and can easier save and share a voice memo.

Doesn’t work!

I was able to register and log in, but every time I try to record the heart beat nothing happens. I even tried talking into the microphone just to get some sound waves, but nothing happened.

MOBILE APP DOESN’T LET YOU LOGIN

I would rate is zero stars if I could!!!
The mobile app does not let you login to back up your baby’s heartbeat, I have two of
the heartbeat animals and have tried to back them up numerous times, the first time the back ups were deleted the second time I made a whole new account and tried to back them up again and still nothing ! The app itself will not let me login to back my baby’s heart beat. The app just keeps saying something is wrong with my password or username, I’ve even tried to reset my password and it still does not work it. It lets me login on the actual site through Safari but does not allow me to login using the mobile app which is what you use to back up the heartbeat!!! I am SO frustrated.

I am so sorry you hit such frustrating hurdles. If you'd like to give us another shot, the just released version of the app -- version 3.1.0 -- is completely revamped. It streamlines and improves the login process from the ground up. And now, after logging in once, you will not be prompted to login anymore.

Horrible

I was able to login and the app worked great but the recorder on here is awful. I recorded it and did the play back on the app and you could barely here it. I ended up uninstalling it and recorded a video of the heartbeat for sound and it was so much clearer and louder.

I wish I could give it 0 stars!!!!

Seriously! I have my heartbeat bear and recording already. But this app doesn’t even work!!!!! I have any account but every time I go to log in it says something is wrong. I even reset my password and it still says it is wrong!!!! Do the developers of this app not realize how important it is for moms to be able to have that recording saved?! Don’t put out an app that doesn’t work. Some advice for everyone else. Instead of wasting your time with this app, just take a video on your phone of the heartbeat recording and email it to yourself, then move the email to a save folder. Save yourself that headache.

I lost my baby and can’t download the heartbeat anymore.

After send to the cloud to share (that doesn’t work because nobody gets the email with the heartbeat) I couldn’t have in my device anymore. I lost my baby and want to download the last heartbeat that I recorded. No options in the app.

So you will be able to download the file to any device. Hopefully that addresses your concern.
