Response from developer

Thanks so much for your review and reaching out, Amalia to report this bug! We have resolved this bug with version 2024.2.

Not worth it

I downloaded this excited to see how my baby’s vision changes but only the first weeks are available. I was going to pay to upgrade and get other months, but when I go to upgrade it doesn’t work. It lists the price as $X.XX and the button doesn’t do anything. Super buggy and lame.

Response from developer

Apologies for such a poor experience. We rolled out a completely new version of Baby's Vision where this issue does not exist any longer. Please reach out to support@altinteractive.studio and we'll make it right.

Look Elsewhere

This app is a scam/sham. Do NOT pay to upgrade unless you want to see more blurred nothing that barely changes and is *inaccurately* attempting to portray baby vision. I found a competitor app put out by a children’s hospital that is far more accurate and FREE.

Response from developer

I’m sorry to hear the app didn’t work for you, but at the same time I’m happy you found one that does. As a parent I can tell you it hurts to read a review like this. I’m putting in a lot of time into this app and I can assure you it’s not a scam.

Not Sure Why I Paid For This 🤷🏻‍♀️

Basically just shows varying degrees of blurriness through your camera lense. Paid for the upgrade and it doesn’t do anything additional.

Response from developer

That's exactly what the app does - it visualizes what your baby can see. When they're born, they see the world blurred and less saturated. You'll see how their vision improves as you change their milestones. For the upgrade, it removes the ads throughout the app as well as the watermark in the pictures you take. I'm sorry if you missed this and purchased by mistake.

Don’t even bothering to download

Honestly, I was kinda excited about this app. But was sadly disappointed. I know the majority of apps have a trial period or limited access but they still let you use the app. This app however gives you literally 4 seconds in “demo” mode and then asks you to purchase it for $1.99 😳 I’m sorry, but I haven’t even got to try the app to see if it’s worth my money. The fact that it continues to pop up asks you to purchase it after 4 seconds it’s annoying. I’m deleting this app and looking for a new one. Ridiculous.

Response from developer

I’m sorry you had this experience. The demo mode duration has been increased with the latest update and the purchase prompt is showing up less frequently as well. I do my very best to respond to feedback and care deeply about creating the best user experience possible. Unfortunately, I cannot reach out to you here, but please do send an email to feedback@peteralt.com so I can follow up with you directly. Best, Peter
