I paid for lifetime subscription a few years back. I log on to use it with my second baby and the videos are unavailable. I message customer service and their explanation is that my lifetime subscription is not
available anymore. No offer to make it right or anything.

Great resource
I’ve loved using and having BabySparks. It’s been a go-to for my now 4 and 2 YO’s - the monthly what to expect for the babies really helped me stay anchored. And the daily activities have been fun quick ways to spend a few minutes of undivided attention with each kiddo. This app is easy to use and helpful. I’m aging out now but glad to have had it - Thanks!

Excellent companion
Excellent daily content with insightful articles and videos for development of babies.
Avoid
I wanted to love this app. But it doesn’t save progress losing a lot of functionality in the app. I’ve spoken to support and sent a video and further emails asking for updates. There has been no resolution. Save your money and time and use something else.
Great idea, technical problems
The app is great, the implementation of the app is straight forward and the activities and videos very helpful. However, there are some defects that make the app unusable. Any interaction of the user (completing activities, defining difficulty, checking milestones) cannot be saved. I would recommend the app to so many people if these issues where fixed :)

Not working anymore
Over the last month or so, the app has stopped working. It no longer saves anything I put in (measurements, milestones,etc)
Great idea and activities but barely works
The idea and activities are great and very helpful but the app has Lots of bugs. Hence, 2 stars. Every 2 days the app doesn’t save the activities that I do and therefore makes the use of app absolutely meaningless. The support replied to me offering a solution that didn’t solve the problem, there was no further response despite my follow-ups.

Bugs…
Seems to have loads of bugs still - milestones don’t save when you track them, activities don’t save when you mark them as complete.
App needs update
Great activities. But the app becomes glitchy recently. When I try to tick or save the completed activities, it jumps back to the start and doesn’t save my activities. Can’t track my progress.
Forever Subscribed
I briefly used this app for my kids when they were babies. It was ok but I didn’t keep it. Years later, they send me emails and even though I haven’t had the app in years and repeatedly UNSUSCRIBE, they still send me multiple emails a week. My kids are in upper elementary grades
Disappointed
Bought annual pass, the app doesn’t work. I add milestones but nothing submits. Also all the workshops and courses are not included in the annual subscription. Activities seem repetitive every day and don’t match my child’s age.

Not usable
I used baby sparks for my first child and it was wonderful, about 4 years ago. For my second (now 7 months old), the app has been unusable. It won’t actually let me click into anything even though it’s the latest version and my iPhone is updated. It has been extremely disappointing this time around. I keep hoping it will work and I’ll have the activities and the milestones but I have been let down literally every time. If it works for you, it is amazing but otherwise don’t hold your breath.

Ads technical issue
When I open the app, the ads pops up but cannot close it down. Unable to use it for a while because of that.

Paid upgrade promo makes it stop working
The app is good but whenever they’re running a promo for the paid upgrade (which happens often) you can’t x out of that so you literally can’t even open the app at all if they happen to be pushing the paid version (and since that is often, the app is often not at all functional)

Not worth the money
The milestones listed are far too aggressive and seem to be designed to promote worry. See the CDC milestones app if you want something more practical. I didn’t end up finding the listed activities to be very fun or enjoyable which is what the goal was when I subscribed to this service. Sometimes less is more which appears to be the case with this app.

Difficult to evaluate before subscribing
I’d really like to play around with this app for a bit before committing to a subscription. However the subscription banner comes up as soon as you open the app and won’t close, preventing you from trying anything. There is supposed to be limited free content available but I have hardly ever gotten to see it. I don’t think this was the developer’s intention and hope it is fixed. There is also no info that I can find to explain the difference between a basic and premium subscription. In the meantime, I’m using the free CDC milestone app.

Not free AT ALL
I downloaded this app for free and was actually willing to upgrade at some point, but it won’t even open now because it just shows a sale ad that you cannot close out of. The app is useless unless you pay. Do t believe that’s there’s free content anymore.
