They ask for way to much information for a “news app” I’ve never seen a news app ask for my banking information that’s outrageous and when I go to delete my account it won’t even allow it saying wait a week and nothing changes DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

Surprisingly good app idea
I don’t normally write reviews but I could actually start using this app everyday. Voting on the news and sharing my opinion feels super cool

Better signal, less noise
Admittedly lighter on the volume of stories (for now), I’m really getting into being able to know how people with more informed opinions are reacting to the news. It’s kind of like reading twitter replies through special glasses that let you see who is talking and whether they actually have any skin in the game.

This app makes me smarter
I really enjoy reading the daily news in Backchannel. I get a lot out of the few minutes I put in, and seeing the opinions and reactions of verified experts and how my view compares on a given topic is super interesting and provides a unique perspective.
Unique news app
I've tried a lot of news apps, but this one is special. It’s genuinely transformed the way I consume news. You have near unfettered access to expert and public opinions on the right stories. The headlines feel well curated, and I like giving my take on those types of issues. It’s a daily use for me now
