Backfire zealot user here-
1. Wish I could see the app in imperial rather than metric for my silly American brain.
2. Like seeing my battery% on my board and controller. Helpful to prepare for rides.
3. Connects pretty easily without any hiccups.
4. There’s a kids mode so the boards sold after 2021 are “safer”.
5. The app seems like it had barely any thought put into it and as one review stated “an unfinished product.
After getting the app I was expecting something horrible because of the 1.8 reviews. I guess my expectations were so low that I was pleasantly surprised by the app being mediocre.

There’s no G2 black option on the menu.

Very minimal app. Battery life and mileage is the only practical use. Now this is not accessible.

So far it does what it says . But I can literally get this intel on the remote. I’ll check it out for awhile but kind of useless unless you want the flashy colorful stuff on the app.

The app doesn’t function
Not a Finished Product
I was surprised of the many spelling and formatting errors I found throughout the app. Although the app did connect to my Zealot S, it didn’t offer more information than the remote. Overall, the app doesn’t feel like a finished product, lots of development left.
Worked ok for me.
I had no issues signing in or registering, which was a pleasant surprise after seeing the reviews. The main reason I downloaded the app was so I could see more precise battery level on my board, and this app accomplishes this nicely. It displays the battery in 5% increments instead of 20%, which is my biggest gripe about the display that comes with the backfire remote. That said, I’m not a huge fan of the five second unskippable ads that play whenever you open the app and having to click through pairing instructions every time I want to connect to the board. Though it’s a bit inconvenient, I’ll probably keep using it for the points exchange. They’ve got some good stuff on there.

A new problem every update
This is probably one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. With every updated there’s a new issue. Do yourself a favor and avoid this app at all costs.
Simply doesn’t work
Backfire g3 user, doing all steps to connect to app correct board still will not connect. Also I’ve been waiting for this app for years and was sad to see you start out at 0 miles since I’ve done over 2000. Upsetting to see users with thousands of logged miles which is impossible because the app has only been available for a couple weeks

Doesnt let me make an account😡
This app doesn’t let me make an account. It says “email error” when I register. I dont know if its because im on iphone or if its the chinese app in general but whatever it is i hope it gets fixed NOW👎. I hope to eventually use this app for my zealot.

Downloaded the app and I can’t make an account or login? Also some stuff isn’t in English which is weird imo for an English user interface.

Terrible app great product
I have the backfire g2 and I lost the controller so I downloaded the app hoping to be able to control my board with my phone but instead it doesn’t let me make an account and even if I could using ur phone as a controller isn’t even an option on the app

This app would be great if it worked..unfortunately I can’t even login as some buttons are not functional. Couldn’t connect to my board either. This app should be taken down until it is fixed.
