Oh well
I thought I finally found a backgammon game with random dice. At first the games seemed fair. They got increasingly less fair over time.
Rigged roles
Too bad the roles are rigged and you are not playing a live person during live play.
Gym
I deleted and reinstalled the game due to what I thought were accounting errors. After reinstalling the game my level went from 93 to 1. My score went from over 7,000,000 to about 200. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it again and I am back to a level 93 and my points have been restored. I don’t understand how that happened but I am glad it did. The game refused me to make a legitimate move until it timed out. It is a great game with problems. Some day hopefully the problems will be addressed.

Rigged Algorithm
Game starts out fine. The more you play the more predictable it becomes. Opposite player will roll multiple doubles to my few or none. Make the game more realistic!!!

I like this game, by lately it randomly quits in the middle of a game — it is super annoying!!! Please figure out a way to fix this glitch.
Overall great BUT SOME PLAYERS CHEAT
About 15% of the players found a way to cheat the system. I am not sure how. When a player has a series of roles that have less than a one percent probability and that happens consistently, then there is an issue. Again, 85% of the games are fair and honest. But 15% of the games are clearly rigged and not mathematically possible.

The best BG app so far
This is so far the best BackGammon app I ever played. And I’ve played most of them. Key moments – first of all it gives you all your points. If you win 1000, you get 1000, if you lose 1000 – you lose 1000, every other app takes percentage off of your winning points for some unknown reason. Usually 40%. You win hundred, you get 60. Total scammers. Not in here, and this is very important, because they do not try to scam off your points, kudos to developers. Another one – dice generator. This is the best dice generator so far that I’ve seen. like I said, I’ve played most of the Backgammon apps. Most of their dice generators suck. And you can predict the dice that your opponent is going to get with 90% possibility. They will always get that one in a million combinations that will make you lose. And again - Not in this game. 90% of the time the dice is random, once in a while, it might give you two or even three doubles in a row, but that happened to me only once in more than 100+ games I already played, and this can really happen sometimes in real game. And Sometimes is the keyword here. In all other times, the dice is absolutely random and unpredictable, which let you play to the best of your abilities without knowing that your piece will be hit with almost 100% possibility in the most crucial moment of the game.
Couple things might need some tweaking, but I wouldn’t even mention it, not to give the developers any ideas that might affect the whole performance :))
If it works fine do not try to fix it.
And most importantly, I’ve played BG for over 50 years by now, so if you do not make any dumb moves, you’ll be able to earn your points pretty fast.
Although sometimes I think that the person that I’m playing, is not real, because some moves they make look ridiculous, but hey, we are different, we think differently and who knows, maybe that is the way they play.

Vomits out continual stream of long commercials.
Seemed to be a great game until it started requiring constant consent to its data gathering on behalf of “trusted vendors”. It wasn’t enough to reject their options once, no, it was constantly filling out the same consent form even though each time using my information was restricted. Since then the game persistently and consistently vomits out a continuous stream of commercials that go on and on and on…

I was well on the way to a win when my opponent rolled doubles 4 out of 5 rolls for the win. Random? I don’t think so.
Rigged roles
Absolutely rigged rolls. Play long enough and you will notice a pattern.
Very flawed game
The developer seems to love to reply to reviews with “all dice rolls are 100% random”. Well, it’s an algorithm that controls the dice, and algorithms are not random. Play this game a few times and you will see the controlled dice rolls. I’ve played tournament backgammon for over 25 years, and if the dice rolls were like in this game I would have quit plying a long time go. Completely ruins the game.

Fixed Rolls
I posted an earlier review (mid-June) about how this app froze at loading to 85%-88%. I rated this app a ”1” at that time, sadly. The developers really did a nice job getting the upgrade fixed, and the upgrade has gone through a couple iterations since. I want to give this backgammon app a “5”, but I cannot, sadly.
The plus side is every time I have emailed the developers, they have been very prompt to respond. They have asked the right questions, they took care of the issues, and even followed up with me. They demonstrate that they care and they want to fix the issues. 5 STARS for that!!!!
The downfall has been the rigged rolls which EVERYONE has experienced throughout the latest upgrade iterations. It has become RIDICULOUS regarding the improbability of rolls needed and what is being made. Even those rolls to my advantage. Prior to the recent iterations, the rolls still appeared to be “normal”; I.e.: within statistical probability. Lately, the improbability has become absurd. The randomness of rolls needs to be fixed, please.
This is still a better-than-average backgammon app. I do enjoy it and find myself playing nearly every day. But, let’s get real here, guys! Let’s return to absence of normalcy. Thanks!

Game fair, but ads make it not worthwhile
Several minutes of ads that cannot be bypassed before game. No paid version available. Deleting. More time watching ads than playing.
