Extremely buggy
I’ve been playing for over a year and the latest update is horrific. It locks up my iPhone and takes too long to exit hard close the app and get back in before your turn times out. I’ve lost a lot of coin I’ve played and doubled when I’m in a position to win. Just horrible update.
2026 May update - I’m done with the game. I played a 75k game when I had almost 16M coins, yet later in the day when I went back in, it had removed all but 2k coins. Support said I played a 10M game and doubled. They would not resolve the issue. So I’m done with the game. Hitting the delete button and moving on. Which is too bad because I played 10-20 games per day.

It stops loading at 75% this is the first time it has happend since i started playing over 3 years ago. I have uninstalled and reinstalled.
Don’t recommend
This game stinks. There’s no way to turn off chat and 9 out of 10 people on here are childish and rude. It’s not fun to play, anyway I’m going to download a different one.
BOTS and rigged!
This game is rigged. For a while you'll be winning and get your score pretty high, then all of a sudden you'll start getting players with weird scores that don't match their win rates. They'll get doubles over and over again. The game has many bots. Don't spend real money on this game. The developers are liars when they say there are no bots!!!

Ridiculous
This game is so fixed. As soon as you finally start to accumulate rewards they set you on a losing streak and knock you down. The premise of the game is fun but when it’s set up against you it zaps all the fun right out of it. Thumbs DOWN. Lots of backgammon games out there folks. Don’t choose this one. You’ll regret wasting your time.

They will remove this review because they don’t like honesty. This game is not backgammon. It is simply a doubles rolling contest that almost always favors new players. Don’t waste your time with this game. It’s pathetic! Support even admits it’s mostly bots.

Ads, ads, ads. I hope you like watching them because they will constantly stop you in the middle of games.
Broken game
My wife and I wanted a game to play against each other. Should be simple but the game ended prematurely 6 out of 8 games. It just says you lose and stops the game. Deleted it. It’s also a giant commercial.
Bogus dice algorithms
As with most of these online backgammon games, the dice rolls are not random. They all seem to use the same bogus algorithms. This one is heavily biased on the opponents home side of the board. Move any of your chips on this side of the board and your opponent without fail will ALWAYS roll the perfect die to capture your pieces which is statistically improbable. Not sure why these games are unable to use random dice rolls Makes the game not fun. Deleting!

ZERO STARS! Game freezes and deletes coins
I was happily playing this very fun game for a few months and then it started glitching after I reached 10 million coins. The last game I played was for 5 million coins and the game froze on the second move so I reloaded and the game deleted the 5 million coins from my account. Then I complained and the game deleted another 8million coins so I went from 16 million to 2 million coins.
Don’t waste your time on this BS game! It’s a glitchy mess and it’s biased in a home way. So unfortunate as it seems like fun but not when cheating is allowed. AVOID THIS TERRIBLE GAME! THERE ARE BETTER MORE HONEST ONES OUT THERE!!

Addicted
Luv playing Backgammon Friends Online. Been playing for over a year and it was great until recently when a glitch prevented playing, even if I tried many times. Now I’m staring all over without my original tag name and accumulated points. That’s frustrating, but at least it’s finally working for me again. Bring on the games!

Not Fair
Dice rolls are definitely not random, crazy doubles for opponents at end of close games. And the game also locks up near end of games when you are making a comeback or close to defeating a higher ranked opponent. Stay away from this one.

Ads causing loss!
Every single round I get served an ad! I can’t even play with my friend without automatically losing because I can’t click out of the ads fast enough to play my round. Disgusting.
