Good App, but ..
.. dice are rigged for sure, IMO. Shame, as it makes playing, a disappointing experience.
Rigged Dice: FRAUD
The dice are very obviously rigged and/or malfunctioning consistently. They are either extremely dumb or terrible liars, but the dice are not close to random. They write a long and rambling post about how secure and random their dice are, and I find that hilarious. BS. You will quickly find statistically impossible trends for “random” dice. For example, the number of doubles is dramatically higher late in games. This has happened over and over and over, to both me and my opponents. As a result, MOST games are determined by the incredibly high rate of doubles late in the game. The analysis also sucks, as it does not effectively show any understanding at all of a back game and is just wrong pretty often. It’s as if the people who made this game don’t know how to play the game. Good concept, but bad execution. Fraud.

Great gameplay but needs audio fix
I like to listen to podcasts in the background but the latest update has made that a rough experience. Any time I start up the app it kills my audio. I have to wait to get into a game and then sometimes I can switch over to my podcast app and hit play and then go back into the game. Sometimes the audio then stops other times it doesn’t. 🤷♂️ Please fix it!

Every time you play a paid member you have No Chance what so ever,

Wasted so much time
I’ve played for many many years on various apps, but this has to be the worst. I normally achieve a win rate of just over 50%. But after studying its analysis of the game and the ridiculously accurate dice throw of the opponents and achieving a 25% win rate I’ve decided that enough is enough. It is neither fair nor is it’s analysis of the game helpful in any way, leaving counters exposed while in very vulnerable positions . I would recommend not wasting your time nor any money buying coins to be cheated out of them with alarming regularity.

Unlucky?
I am astonished at the level of cheating in this game. If any admin disagrees, just look at my “luck” scores. I was really enjoying this game until I experienced this fiasco. It must be that they’re fishing for in-app purchases. Quite disappointing

too many bugs
I enjoy the app, especially the data and analysis. But a few things aren’t quite right.
Glitches with the coins are frustrating, I have had finished games not closing properly, blocking me from starting a new one. I haven’t played enough to comment on the dice situation many others are complaining about.

Garbage app! Supper rigged and most of all ridiculously buggy.

This app is dreadful. The algorithm ( if there is even one ) is so unfair and biased . I can tell from my second throw how it’s going to go . Even if you are judged to be the better player it rarely makes a difference. Star Members definitely get preferential treatment.

Rating reset bug
Extremely disappointing support. About a week ago, my Backgammon Galaxy rating suddenly dropped from 1739 to 16 for no reason. I contacted support immediately and included screenshots, but I still haven’t received any response.
I spent a lot of time building my rating, and seeing it reset without explanation is very frustrating. A competitive game should have reliable support when issues like this happen. Please investigate my account and restore my correct rating. Ignoring customers for almost a week is unacceptable.
Until this issue is resolved and customer support starts responding, I cannot recommend this app.

I learn so much from the analysis. It has really made me a better player. The lessons have also been super helpful in improving my game. I appreciate that the team is always working to improve this app, never letting it get stale. I love this app and recommend it often. Also Marc answered me directly when I reached out re an issue I was having once. Doesn’t get more 5 stars than that.
