Luckily I’m not stupid enough to invest a single penny in this app. The owner/developers have tried to monopolise backgammon for their own financial gain instead of making an app that’s enjoyable to play. For context I’m 40 years old and have played backgammon everyday since I was 7 years old. Almost 35 years of gameplay, so I think I know what I’m talking about. Let me list the countless ridiculous things which make this app absolute garbage. Firstly the app is FULL of bugs like random crashes (which still eat your coins) - speed glitches slowing down and speeding up the game clock, rematch is impossible as the app will crash immediately (on the phone or on the web browser both crash if you offer/accept a rematch) and countless other small issues. The “post game analysis” is absolutely pathetic and is a marketing tool to try and get you to become a member to “help you with your game” - backgammon is a game of luck and skill combined. And also context matters massively. The computer analysis is a robot and nobody could understand it even with years of gameplay. You can play perfectly and win and it will call you a rookie, you can play awfully and lose and it will call you superhuman. Basically, if you’re new to backgammon and trying to learn the computer will only confuse you. The gameplay and dice fairness is absolutely rigged in favour of members and high ranked players. I have dominated players ranked higher than me only to roll 5,5 4x in a row (on multiple occasions) the odds of which are 1.6 million to 1 and in 35 years of backgammon I have maybe seen this happen once, and end up losing the game. If you don’t play perfectly how the computer wants you to play based on its algorithm then you WILL be penalised. I played GamesGrid backgammon online years over 20 years ago and it was 100x better experience than this garbage app/website. The owners will come and reply saying the dice are fair blah blah blah, don’t waste your time listening to them. They want to sell coins and backgammon boards. I’m actually very disappointed, as someone with a passion for the game who can play multiple hours per day this has really made me believe that anyone in the online space is just another scam artist looking for a quick buck. I have seen videos of the creators playing games online against other members and they don’t even understand their own AI tool! They claim is has “solved the game of backgammon” haha it’s laughable. You CAN NOT even play against a friend for free. Whoever wins the game, both players LOSE coins I mean how petty and pathetic is that? If I could leave 0 stars I would in fact I’d leave negative equity!!! Pathetic excuse for a pay to win app - I’d rather play against myself on a board at home than get rage baited in to parting with a penny of my money on this! Appalling.

Freeze on Game
The game freezes and the confirm button didn’t respond when on the last move I was the winner. It should at least recognize the winner instead of giving the points to the opponent. Very frustrating

Straight up Scam
At best, the dice in this game are laughably broken. They are certainly less “random” than the shadiest overseas apps that barely bother to pretend to be fair. Close to 100 percent of the hundreds of games I’ve played are decided by a crazy flurry of doubles that you can bank on happening late game. The number of doubles is DRAMATICALLY higher late game than any other time. So the lack of randomness could not possibly be more obvious and straight forward. So, it would be silly to think this is the only way the app has messed up the dice. Are they intentionally messing up their algorithm or is this just incompetence? Hard to say for sure. But their analysis is also terrible. Often they miss really obvious moves, and they don’t appear to even know what a back game is.

Decent game they give you some free coins every day to play which is nice… Wish they gave you a little bit more free ones when you’re first starting out because you kind of need them

Even this game is fixed, ridiculous predictable rolls to make you lose so you have buy coins. You can’t find an app where you can play against others and get a real roll of the dice. Someone please create a real true backgammon app.

unfair rolling
that is absolutely basic and unfair rolling system.needs serious attention .
Great app but too much bugs
Unfortunately, the biggest issue is that ever since the last update, the app either doesn’t start properly or, as soon as you log into the game, the game fails to load. This results in losing both points and coins, which is extremely frustrating.
Apart from this issue, everything else is generally fine. It’s great that you can play against so many talented players from around the world, and the tournament option is also a great addition.
