Hard level should be renamed Fixed
As an experienced Backgammon player. I put the level as hard. The developer obviously thinks hard is where the AI gets the exact combination of Di to take your pieces 9/10 On the 1/10 it rolls so any singles are doubled up.It’s so obviously fixed to the point of being boring. Apple should remove this from the Arcade as it’s appallingly bad.

Rigged rolls
It’s laughable the rolls that the computer gets compared to the player. I’ve played a dozen games and every time it goes the same way. What I don’t get is why make it this way on the arcade version that’s not pay to win. Garbage app. Deleting and getting a different backgammon game.
Fun and educational
I wanted to learn to play backgammon… this game taught me how to play. It’s pretty fun and intuitive

This game is a complete scam. Apple should pull it asap from its arcade. Embarrassing they allowed this game in their store.
Good for beginners, but
It’s great for teaching the game and strategy, but be ready to feel cheated in games. The number of times the app player gets the precise dice rolls it needs seems statistically impossible. In other words, the game is designed to win.
Where Are The Stats?
The developers insist the rolls are random despite numerous reviewers indicating otherwise. The so called AI doesn’t have a monopoly on aggressively building blocks and hitting open pieces it just appears to be aided by favorable rolls. The developers could easily prove their case by providing statistics. Certainly there have been enough games played to prove randomness. It’s curious they haven’t done that

Fun, classic backgammon!
A great time with attractive graphics and solid gameplay.
Good game
I always thought the computer opponent rolled more doubles than random rolls would generate. So I played 10 games and kept track of the doubles. Computer - 41, me - 37. Within the margin of error for a small sample.
Game Cheats for payers
If you purchase game the developer gives you automatic dice roll preferences on incredibly lucky rolls while if you are arcade free your rolls never hit. When you play people with hundreds or thousands of points they get unreal rolls hitting you on odds that just are not real. You basically pay to win. Its a total BS game.

Worse backgammon game - rigged and buggy
It’s simply unplayable. Imagine playing and losing 20-30 games in a row to zero rankers!
The AI is everywhere you can see it in the dice and in the players.
Bugs galore too - The game auto plays too! And now skips over your turn to help the AI (multiplayer)! And not forgetting the infamous doubles at the end. Three double sixes and exact dice :( doesn’t always register wins, but does when you lose - so it’s quite an unfair game.
No one makes a mistake anymore and you can suss out an AI opponent. Players all play in the same way. You can tell by the style, they never retire and always take pieces.

Been YEARS since I’ve played and this is a perfect way to refresh your memory!
Difficulty Settings
As far as I can tell there is no way to change the difficulty settings once you pick it in the beginning. Very frustrating.
Cheating AI!
This game’s AI cheats constantly! It mysteriously rolls dice to constantly take you out when its behind or rolls several doubles to bypass you when losing at the end to win! Totally stinks! I won’t be playing it anymore!
Too many doubles
This is a good way to learn the basics of the game. At the medium and hard levels the computer opponent rolls way too many doubles especially when bearing off. Very frustrating to play a good game and lose to an unrealistic number of doubles.
