Medium difficulty is not quite hard enough, but hard difficulty against the AI is like playing against my uncle who cheats like a MF. AI consistently rolls higher than the player and usually gets the perfect rolls to pin you down and then make you forfeit by offering a double. AI rate of rolling doubles is way higher than that of the player. One time recently the AI rolled doubles three times in a row (a jailable offense in Monopoly). I seem to roll double 6’s most often when I have only one piece left to bear off and it’s in the 1 slot. Luckily the game lets you cheat back by letting you undo moves even after the opponent has already taken their turn. Evens the odds a bit. Ads are kind of annoying because they will play between every game and also if you leave the app for a microsecond, you’re guaranteed to watch an ad when you reopen the app

Concede option

I suggest a “Concede” option (when you know you can’t win the game, why continue? (Of course the computer should be able to do same) Also, perhaps
wins/loss stat against computer.

FIXED GAME

Disappointing To Say The Least. I’ve been using this App for a long time but have been becoming disgusted because it is obvious that the dice rolls are fixed. My last game, I had every position doubled up, had a couple pieces outside the last quarter and had just rolled double six. I went to move my pieces when the game suddenly started a commercial, once done I had lost the double six roll and ended up with a 1 and 4 roll. The game dragged out another five minutes with it obvious based on the rolls that the opponent was favored to win and did so by one piece. I’m am finally going to stop playing this App because I don’t like when the computer fixes the rolls.

Not Random

The second you leave a piece on its own the computer gets exactly the dice needed to land on you. Fix this.

Laughably rigged

Fun game but it’s obviously rigged in the computer’s favor when you reach the higher levels. The developer claims it’s just more difficult due to more aggressive hits. The hits are aggressive because the computer gets the exact roll it needs to hit you the majority of the time. It’s so predictable that I’ve started saying out loud what roll is going to come up. I’m right quite often.

Developers Never Played Backgammon

The game is not bad, but it’s too easy on the medium setting and the hard setting just has the computer roll whatever it needs to bump you. There’s no skill or strategy to it, so it’s kind of ridiculous.

Used to be better

Not playing anymore due to the ridiculous time spent ignoring the never ending ads.

Awesome fun!

You roll a 1/3 and computer rolls a 6/6 every time. 👍

Nice game

Nicely written game. Medium mode is pretty fair and dice rolls seem pretty random. Not so for Hard mode. Definite bias favoring computer. It wins almost all starting rolls, and get too many doubles to be random. Meanwhile, the player rarely gets a double, and seems to get so many low rolls, that it doesn't seem random either. I wish it kept score. All-in-all a great little game.

To many long adds

I have had this game for years but it has gotten to heavy with long adds that you can’t get out of even when they end. You start the game and another add interrup’s the game. I am deleting the game and will try another from a different company. Also if you offer candy crush 100 times and a customer doesn’t down load it take the hint and stop showing the add to them.

Best game

What a flop

This used to be the best game. It’s still would be a good game to play, but it gets stuck on ads, with no way out except backing out of the game and restarting and hoping you don’t get stuck on the ad again. Very frustrating. I’m moving onto a different Backgammon game.

Nice game

I play several backgammon games on the computer; I consider myself a skilled backgammon player, as I’ve been playing for over 45 years. This game is good for all skill levels, since it allows you to choose the level of difficulty. The dice seem more random than other apps. My only complaint is there is no resign function once you see the game is unwinnable.

Would truly be great if not so heavily weighted for the computer

I love the look and feel of this version of Backgammon, and have downloaded it plated extensively, and then deleted it several times. I just get completely fed up with how it vastly favours the computer. Not at the beginner or medium categories, but certainly on the hard level. The computer gets at least twice the number of double rolls as does the player. And there are certain standard combinations that come up. Where you haven’t a hope of the computer not taking your piece. For example, 95% of the time that you have a single man on the sixth place, the computer will land on you. I’m done with it for good now. What a shame, but there must be better options.

Ads & cheating computer

I’ve been playing this game app for years. In the last six months I started getting an excessive amount of ads between each hand.
The computer cheats example: I’m leading the hand, then the computer gets doubles, at least 2 in a row sometimes more. I’m thinking about deleting
