Rigged Game

Rigged game. Dice rolls not random. Heavily manipulated. Would give it 0 stars if I could. Cheaters!

Fun game except…

This backgammon app is fun to play except for the annoying ads.

Still crashes!

Still crashes all the time if you leave the app mid-game and try to resume.

So crooked

I have watched multiple multiple multiple times that the doubles favor the dealer. Sometimes two on the way out there’s just no winning. This is all that happens play a great game and computer gets all the doubles going out every time. Very disappointed!

Worst backgammon game

This is the worst app for backgammon. It threw quads 4 of 5 rolls in many games. The odds of that happening are 430 million to 1. Not realistic

Don’t bother

Be prepared: you’ll rarely get rolls that don’t force you to leave pieces vulnerable. The computer will always roll to land on your pieces when you do. Don’t expect many opportunities to do the same. And when the game is close, the computer will roll doubles after doubles to save itself. These “miracle doubles” take all the fun out of the game.

Thank you this game is great

Awesome Game Love it

Too many ads

It’s frustrating to have so many ads in between games

It cheats

It always gets tte roll to take you out. It always gets the role to cover a piece. It’s no fun because it’s not skill it’s just cheating because it controls the rolls.

Totally cheats

The computer gets WAY more first moves and doubles than the human player. WAY MORE. It cheats. I like the other reviewers idea that, OK then, we can use the “undo” button to edge things towards even. But it would be better if the rolls were truly random.

Love the game /way too many long ads

This game is awesome however the most recent change with the long ads is horrible . I a see having ads but it’s too much .

Too many doubles

I would give this game a five out of five rating if they would not so many doubles! The amount of double sixes and double fives that come up are statistically not possible in a normal game.

Fun and Easy to Play!

I enjoyed playing backgammon as a child and now I enjoy playing it with this app!

Good but too many ads

I feel like there used to be less ads

Changed

The board has changed appearance and now ads pop-up in the middle of games. I much preferred the old version. Also, there’s no way to see your stats or play with random strangers.

Cheaty McCheaterson

Medium difficulty is not quite hard enough, but hard difficulty against the AI is like playing against my uncle who cheats like a MF. AI consistently rolls higher than the player and usually gets the perfect rolls to pin you down and then make you forfeit by offering a double. AI rate of rolling doubles is way higher than that of the player. One time recently the AI rolled doubles three times in a row (a jailable offense in Monopoly). I seem to roll double 6’s most often when I have only one piece left to bear off and it’s in the 1 slot. Luckily the game lets you cheat back by letting you undo moves even after the opponent has already taken their turn. Evens the odds a bit. Ads are kind of annoying because they will play between every game and also if you leave the app for a microsecond, you’re guaranteed to watch an ad when you reopen the app

Concede option

I suggest a “Concede” option (when you know you can’t win the game, why continue? (Of course the computer should be able to do same) Also, perhaps
wins/loss stat against computer.
