Hi. I love this app. I’ve been using it since I heard about it a long long time ago. One thing I would love to see happen is a prompt when you’re recording. You can make it sound like you’re in a car in a building or something like that I know crazy right? By the way, totally love this app is definitely worth what I paid for it. What I will say, though is, can you please make it where you can turn the transcriber off that is so frustrating. We don’t ever use it most of us who use this app don’t use that. Thank you for the feedback! Can you please email me at backpackstudioapp@gmail.com so we can discuss your idea! The app doesn't auto transcribe, and it should only ask you to try it once! Perhaps we can figure it out so you can leave a better rating than 3 stars. -Ed

I’m impressed with the new improvements to Backpack Studio. However, I would really love to see support for uploading multiple tracks into a crate at once. Having to load one track at a time can become frustrating and time-consuming.

I use VoiceOver for the visually impaired, and I used to be able to create videos in this app very easily.
But now, unfortunately, I can no longer create a video. When I press the “Video” option, an issue appears, whereas before it would give me the option to add an image or write text.
This feature was very important to me, and now it doesn’t work at all.
I hope the app’s management fixes this issue as soon as possible, because we rely on it a lot 🙏

hello I use VoiceOver for the blind, and unfortunately in the latest update the Clips issue still hasn’t been fixed.
Whenever I open the Clips tab, the app completely stops working.
We hope you can resolve this issue as soon as possible and pay more attention to accessibility for blind users, as we rely on the app completely.

I’m a VoiceOver user (screen reader for the blind), and I’d like to share my experience with the *Backpack* app.
This app is *very helpful for video editing*, especially for blind users, because it’s *one of the very few apps compatible with screen readers*.
It has made it much easier for me to create videos with text and audio.
However, I have an important *note*:
When I create a video and add *text on the video*, then share the video and try to read it using *image or video reading apps*, the *text that appears is different* from the one I originally wrote in Backpack.
I really hope the developers can *fix this issue*, because I rely on this app and don’t use any other for editing.
Please consider supporting blind users more, and thank you for creating such a useful app.

no longer compatible
unfortunately this app is no longer compatible with iOS 26 or iPadOS 26. It is extremely slow and I'm not sure it would even work now for broadcasting or recording audio. It even takes a couple of minutes to just load a sound into a pad. I think this issue really does need addressed as soon as possible.

Best in class
Solves many issues lacking from other podcasting apps. It’s wonderfully functional and also creative and simple. Please charge more for the app and avoid the subscription model.

Hi I keep getting an error that says this data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the right format
A great upgrade
I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now and it works flawlessly. Nice clear sound in the recordings. There is much more you can do with this program as opposed to the old BossJock Studio Program. Ed you knocked it out of the park this time. Can’t wait for newer upgrades for video and Skype.

Great App for Podcasters, but…
This is a great app for podcasters and has a lot of great tweakable settings for your audio and soundboard. The only issue I’ve run into lately is using an interface with more than just 2 in/2 out. For example, the vocaster two has multiple ins and outs, and even with dual mono mic setting enabled, I still only get audio through one side of the audio file. Additionally, if I turn this setting off, I get some kind of audio interference. If it could be updated to handle interfaces with more than 2 in/2 out, this would be the perfect app for podcasters. The only other recommendation I would have would be perhaps an in app purchase for multi-track output for further editing of the audio once recording has been completed.
