Paired with the BackTracked hardware—a Particle Boron equipped with GPS, a weight sensor, and an audio featherwing—the app offers reliable tracking tools for everyday safety. BackTracked allows you to monitor the location of a child’s backpack, diaper bag, sports gear, or any essential item equipped with the BackTracked device. The app displays real-time location updates on an in-app map, helping you stay aware of where your items are at all times. The app also displays the current weight reading from the sensor inside the hardware, allowing you to check whether items have been added or removed. For additional safety and communication features, BackTracked lets you play pre-recorded audio clips through the device’s built-in speaker.
