BackWord - Daily Word Puzzle

Every word game asks you to solve a grid. Backword asks you to unsolve one. You're handed a finished grid: rows of colored tiles, and the answer word sitting at the bottom. What's missing are the letters that got there. Work backwards from the clues to rebuild every guess that led to the solution. It's the same satisfaction as a good logic puzzle. Each tile tells you something. A dark tile means that letter sits in exactly that spot. A warm tile means it belongs in the word, but somewhere else. A pale tile means it isn't in the word at all. Put those constraints together and only one set of letters fits. HOW IT WORKS Tap a tile, type a letter, and the grid checks itself against the colors. Fill all of them correctly and the puzzle resolves. Get stuck and you have hints to spend, but the streak belongs to whoever finishes clean.
