Badge Quest: Emergency Alerts

Turn the alerts you already get into a collection. Badge Quest is a retro, 4-color pixel game that awards you a badge whenever a real Wireless Emergency Alert–eligible warning is issued for your area: tornado, flash flood, winter storm, wildfire, earthquake, tsunami, AMBER and more. Set your home ZIP code (or let the app use your location), turn on notifications, and go on with your day. When a qualifying alert hits your county or the warning polygon you're in, MR. BEEP, the Alert Announcer, delivers your new badge. COLLECT • 15 core badges, from the TWISTER BADGE to the BLIZZARD BADGE, plus the rare EAGLE BADGE • A FIELD LOG entry for every badge: when you earned it, how long the alert lasted, and how much area it covered • Every badge comes straight from the official feeds, so nothing can be faked. The app checks them automatically UPGRADE • Badge upgrades: earn the same badge from enough separate alerts and it upgrades. Your BLIZZARD badge upgrades to a YETI, your TWISTER to a STORMCHASER • Combo bonus badges for regional sets like DESERT DWELLER, GULF COAST GRIT and RING OF FIRE COMPETE • A public leaderboard that shows only your nickname and county, never your exact location • Rank titles up to SURVIVOR SUPREME. The top four on the board ride as THE FOUR HORSEMEN SHARE • Share any badge as an image from the iOS share sheet PRIVACY FIRST • No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics • No sign-up: just pick a nickname • Delete your account and your leaderboard entry any time from Settings IMPORTANT: Badge Quest is NOT an official alert source. It does not send, replace or speed up government alerts, and it may be delayed or miss alerts. Keep Emergency Alerts turned ON in iPhone Settings › Notifications, and always follow instructions from official sources. When an alert is real, stay safe first. The badge can wait. Alert data: U.S. National Weather Service (api.weather.gov) and FEMA IPAWS public feeds. Not affiliated with or endorsed by NWS, FEMA, the FCC or any wireless carrier.
