No gluten free bagel option!
It’s so tiring to as a gluten intolerant person to have to waste time ordering through the App in store only as I cannot order through the App as there is no gluten free bagel option!!! Such a missed opportunity with this and so disappointing. I have been told by the shop assistants in different places to just add the gluten free bagel request in the notes section of the order, but that’s very hit or miss every time. As many of the shop assistants don’t even check the notes on the order!!! And I end up arriving and when I double check with them if the bagel is gluten free, and then it turns out they didn’t check the notes and I have to wait until they make another one. Very poorly designed. I reached out about this to the support as when I started ordering I thought that perhaps it was a glitch in the App for the store I was ordering from. But no!! They told me that they cannot offer this because of it not being 100% gf, which is a bit of a ludicrous excuse considering that I often shop through different Apps or use delivery Apps and they simply specify or make sure that the customer confirms in the App that the cross contamination is fine. Honestly, I really don’t understand why this cannot be introduced? As I either have to waste time ordering and waiting in store or waste time waiting for my order to be redid as the note was not seen or like today have to receive and accept a non-gf bagel that I cannot eat as the store informed me that they didn’t see the note but also didn’t have the gf bagels delivered at all!!
