Was my go to tuning app but for the longest time now it won’t even open across multiple iOS devices.
App not working in latest iOS
Fantastic app, have used it to tune the band to competition success several times.
However, it’s just crashing as soon as it opens in the latest iOS version.

Unbelievably amazing! One of the hardest things I find to do myself is tuning my drones as I’m getting back into piping after being in a band a long time ago and someone else doing it for me, this is brilliant! So so easy to use! Download and go! Play chanter over it at low A, then hold phone next to drones to match, couldn’t be easier really! Happy piping all!

An amazing app for the money Easy to calibrate You can tune a whole band in no time It’s so easy anyone can use it to tune or learn to tune themselves Overall the best app for the money I just wish it did not use so much battery Other than that - a great app for a Piper or band at any level

Good App
It’s a good and accurate tuner. I really like the fact that you can pair it with a Bluetooth microphone.
However, I would give it five stars if you could manually calibrate it. It tends to learn too quickly and often not to the steady frequency that you need it tuned to, especially when self-calibrating to your own pipes.
Please update the app with that capability to make this app top notch.

Basic tuning app
Fairly basic, but does the job. Expensive considering there’s virtually no “bells and whistles”. Desperately needs some documentation showing any settings and options that may be available and how and when to use it. Maybe a Utube video?

I purchased this tuner today,one of our band has this so I had one as well .
I have been trying to tune to 476 now for about3 hours and still no luck so I had to go back to my old tuner.
I have found the learn mode is no use at all , this tuner could do with some instructions on how to use it .
I can't give it any stars as I am sure it's not working properly.

Very good
Makes playing a well tuned bagpipe painless
When combined with the bluetooth clip microphone this tuner makes tuning the drones really easy and accurate. I constantly switch between my band and solo chanters, and this makes that painless.

Absolute amazing app, had to download earlier to day to tune up, after leaving my own tuner at home, very accurate and will probably use a lot more often, it is a must for any piper, works great and cheaper than my korg

I love this, especially when used with the Bluetooth mic.
Setting the target pitch is currently done in the iPhone settings, which is a little clumsy (it should be easily set with ing the app). Also,an accompanying watch app would be awesome (I could tune without having to balance my phone somewhere).

Great, but why no instructions?
I really like the app but would really like a straightforward set of instructions to get the best out of it. I.e. a step by step guide as to how to tune using it.
What, no help file?
So I purchased and install Bagpipe Tuner and the only operational button I see is "learn" and still haven't figured how to make it work. Perhaps I am not using it correctly but without a FAQ or Help file, I will continue to struggle. Wish there was a "refund" option.

I have been piping for 40 years and this tuner on my iPhone is the best tuner to date!! I have used many different tuners and none of the old big bulky things have even come close, oh yea, it work on the iPad just fine if you do not have an iPhone or iPod touch!!!
