Extremely poor customer service
I have been impacted twice in 10 days by Bakingo. A cake was delivered way too late despite requesting a specific timing delivery and today these useless guys rejected the order on the app AFTER CALLING ME and assuring the items unavailable will be replaced with other item. I was waiting for the order and while checking on timing I saw order was rejected. Again today they ruined the day. I will stop buying from these guys.

Absolutely unacceptable experience, a spoled cake was delivered and which is serious food safety concern. what was even more disappointing is the careless response from the customer service they are just trying to close the issue by replacing the order which no one will be ready to take a chance again on food when quality is not met. Every single time, the cakes have been absolutely delicious, beautifully designed, and exactly as expected. We’ve ordered football-themed and cricket-themed cakes, and everyone at the party always compliments both the taste and the stunning designs.
This time, while ordering my son’s 1.5 kg birthday cake, I accidentally selected the wrong delivery date. It was completely my mistake—I assumed I had chosen July 12 and didn’t double-check. When the cake was about to be delivered, I realized it was scheduled two days early. I immediately called customer support and spoke with Kavita. She patiently listened to my situation, asked me to give them some time, and then came back with wonderful news—they were able to change the delivery date for me.
Honestly, I had already accepted that the mistake was mine and was prepared to receive the cake. But the kindness, understanding, and willingness of the Bakingo team to help made my day. It wasn’t just about the money—it was about a 1.5 kg birthday cake that was meant for my son’s special day, and I was worried about what I would do with it.

Prefer trusted local bakeries over Bakingo
I wouldn’t recommend Bakingo as the primary choice for cake delivery on special occasions. Since deliveries are often handled through third-party logistics, there’s a chance the cake may arrive damaged. Even if you raise a complaint, there’s no assurance that a replacement will reach you in time for the occasion.
For important celebrations, it’s generally a better idea to order from a trusted local bakery, where quality control and timely support are often more reliable, rather than relying on cloud bakeries like Bakingo.

Pathetic experience
On may 10th 2026 I had ordered a “Mother’s day chocolate truffle cake” at 12:30 pm in the afternoon and the delivery was set to be done by 9 pm in the night. One of the guys from bakingo called and asked me to share the delivery location which I did through WhatsApp. Then that guy says he has shared it to the delivery person and he will perform the delivery and I got a confirmation at around 5:30 pm that my order is out for delivery, but as the time passes the order never arrived. Then at 11:30 pm the delivery guy calls me and says he is at a different location and he still has 20 orders to be delivered when I had already shared my deliver location well before. Then I asked him to cancel the order and he says I put the delivery as “attempted” and you can go ahead and cancel and I shall get the refund. But that guy goes and updates it as “delivered”. Now I cannot even initiate the refund and neither have a got my order. They robbed my of my 550rs. Their customer support line is dead and their chat bot does not do anything. Please do not use their service as they have no idea how to manage the deliveries. Pathetic company.

Damaged Cake
I received a damaged cake for my daughter’s second birthday. I contacted agent on chat and he said you will get your cake by 9:30PM however, i reached out to agent at 9:40 and he confirmed the order is on the way but i did not get replacement cake and that agent stopped replying to my message which ruined my daughters 2nd birthday. Next day they gave me refund but by that time the birthday was over. I have all the chat proofs which was done on watsapp to Bakingo. Deleted the app and will never order anything from Bakingo in future and will never recommend anyone.

Pathetic service and misleading status.
I had a very disappointing experience with Bakingo. The service was absolutely pathetic. My order was not delivered on time, which completely ruined the occasion. To make things worse, the delivery status was marked as “delivered” even though I had not received the order at that time.
There was a clear lack of coordination and professionalism. Customer support was also not helpful in resolving the issue quickly. I would not recommend this service to anyone looking for reliable and timely delivery. Very dissatisfied with the overall experience.

Misleading images and zero accountability
I ordered the “Mirror Glaze Choco Truffle Cake” from the app but What I received was completely different in appearance and even in the inner cream layers.
When I contacted customer support, they admitted that the image on the app is “edited and brightened” and that the real cake looks darker. In other words, the product images are not an accurate representation of what you actually receive.
Despite sharing photos and explaining that I would never have ordered this cake if the real version was shown, they flatly refused both refund and replacement, claiming “there is no mistake from our end.”
If your images are edited and do not match the real product, that is a mistake. Customers order based on what they see.
This ruined a birthday moment and left me feeling cheated. If you can’t deliver what you show, either update your images or take responsibility when customers complain. Very disappointing experience.

Extremely Disappointed
I am highly disappointed with this order. Not only was the cake delivered late, but the most basic request was messed up as well. I had clearly ordered a numeric 4 candle for my child’s birthday, and they delivered a 2 instead. This is completely unacceptable and shows a total lack of attention and responsibility.
Because of their carelessness, the entire celebration was affected. If a simple detail like a candle can’t be delivered correctly, how can anyone trust the rest of their service? Terrible experience. Definitely not ordering from here again.

Extremely disappointed- poor quality and rude customer service.
The cake was delivered in a terrible condition - chocolate was completely melted and cake had a strong chemical and foul taste. When i reported the issue to customer care they tried to proof me wrong by unnecessary arguments though i shared pictures as a proof. Such audacious behaviour and lack of courtesy is the unacceptable. This experience has ruined my trust in their service.

Poor delivery service in Jaipur
I ordered a cake from Bakingo that was promised to be delivered between 3–6 PM. Even after waiting more than 2 hours past the promised time, there was no delivery, no update, and no proactive communication from their side. This was meant for a special occasion, and the delay completely ruined the experience. Timely delivery is basic — especially for cakes meant for celebrations. Extremely disappointed with the lack of reliability and customer care and The Most Amazing part is they never delivered nor refunded a single penny.

Simply not too beautiful product
We ordered a cake for my cousin’s wedding, and it was breathtaking. The design was elegant, and it tasted even better than we imagined. It was truly a highlight of the wedding.
There is one more question. How to refresh quickly?

BAKINGO The name looks fascinating…however they just FAIL badly at delivering the PROMISE! They make you place an order by giving you ample options and once order is placed…Then the have the audacity to say NO and SORRY for non availability of that particular item you booked for your loved with luv and affection…. These guys are not fulfilling the promised delivery!!! There were HUMANS and now there are Apps who play with your emotions💔 BAKINGO— Sorry Guys but you have disappointed so badly! I would never recommend and you lost a customer or customers for SURE!!!!

Terrible app
If there is any category under ‘third class’ Bakingo deserves to be in there. The app experience is a complete disaster. From login, to selecting a category, adding a personalized message / photo to payments - everything is broken and faulty. I need to close, relaunch the app multiple times to even place a simple order. Apparently the developers’ skills are as broken as the app itself.

Damaged cake and worst service.
Giving it 1 star because there is no option of zero star. 😡. Meke order from bakingo only if you want to waste your time and money, ruin your occasion and also spoil mood of you and your loved ones. Or ruin your image in front of your someone special in case you want to surprize them. Yesterday i ordered a cake for my kids birthday. First they delivered it very late and even when i recieved it, it was damaged. I denied the delivery but the delivery boy played the victim card and said he cannot take it back and i have to raise a complaint. I had to waste my time on this important day in finding another cake from local market and struggling with their so called customer support . I called them and in return of all the problem they caused, they offered me a 15% discount on my next purchase. What a shame it is. Cake is always the most important thing in a birthday but They almost ruined my kids birthday by sending the damaged cake. They claim to be the no-1 app in india but the response they are giving is like any 3rd class service provider. When i complaint about it and asked for full return, they called me back arround 11:30 and asked to send my location from a random number saying they deleted the address details after the delivery. It was very suspicious thing and also I cannot allow any random person to come to my house at this late hour so i had to deny the return pickup. This is happening in a city like hyderabad. I can't even imagine What will they do in smaller cities. Worst experience. Will never suggest anyone to risk their most important occasions relying on their 3rd class service. Just imagine this kind of scenario if you are sending cakes to your boss or someone special on their special day. Don't trust their fake 'good ratings'. Maybe they are paid ratings. If you want to see the real ratings, sort it by most recent And check from Dec-23, Jan, Feb, Mar-24. All the good ratings are comng in some selected months. I think those are the months when they are paying for ratings. Like in october or july.

Doorstep delivery is subject to their delivery person carrying just one cake!
You better hope that your cake is the only one that the delivery person is carrying for delivery that day! Or else he will refuse to deliver it to your door and leave it at the gate with anyone who will accept it! Convenience is why people turn to online cake ordering. If one had the luxury of time, wouldn’t one just go to a proper bakery, select, order, customize and pick it up later?

I have not received any gift item which you have mentioned during placing the order( chocolate cake , Cadbury chocolate). Pls look into the matter who is responsible for not delivering the whole delivery. Somebody has taken out gift item . I think it’s high time to ensure that your customer receives the items which has been claimed during order placing. Very disappointing….

Easy to use application
I have been using this application for a few months now and I must say the experience has been amazing. It’s straightforward and easy to use. The delivery is always on time and the customer service guys are very helpful. I ordered a cake with their midnight delivery for my mothers birthday and they were right on time with the beautiful cake.
I am specially in love with their jar cakes (although I wish to order all the cakes at once).
