As virtually every review from the last 2-3 years will show, this app no longer functions. Why it is still available is beyond me! Completely useless, takes me to the google shopping page every time!
Doesn’t Scan The Barcode Properly
This app doesn’t scan the barcode.
The moment the barcode starts to enter into the alignment frame, the app instantly takes you to a google shopping page that doesn’t even remotely relate to the item your scanning.
It happened so fast that at first I thought that I was being redirected to an ad.
But even after clicking “Done” when I tried again it did the exact same thing.

Broken App
This app is not functioning. I bypassed creating an account so when I scan a barcode it takes me to google and google asks what I am looking for. I thought that was due to not creating an account so I created an account. I then scan a barcode and it does the exact same thing! App Support does not work. The website takes you to a page that says Unauthorized and there is no option to delete my account. Now, yet another clown has my email address…😠good work!

This is a waste of precious times
It takes you to every app you have to change the settings and even when you spend over an hour doing that you still don’t know where the item originally came from
A Mystery How to Use It
How to use it is a mystery. Open the app and it doesn’t give a chance to scan anything. It just goes to Google Shopping. Can’t get to a help screen. Isn’t a barcode scanner supposed to scan a barcode then provide information?

This app sucks. Scan the bar code, it opens a google search but doesn’t put anything in the search bar!
Impossible to use
Downloaded this app hoping to understand a clearly presented barcode. The app jumped to a Google search page immediately it was launched and on each subsequent attempt. Unable even to focus on the barcode. Will be deleting as have found a similar app, also free, that works.

I tried a few times but got only 1 of 2 responses. Either, ‘no barcode recognised’ or redirected to the google search page. Do not bother wasting any time on this.

They screwed it up
I have had this barcode scanner for a long time and it worked well but the last several times I’ve used it all that comes

Any scan takes you to Google Shopping!!
This app has been hijacked! It used to work. Now, no matter what I scan it takes me to a paid ad page for Google Shopping. There is no update visible on the App Store. I am now removing what was once a simple and usable barcode reader app. Perhaps this was part of the ios13 upgrade.
Barcode scanning
Hi! This is my review/opinion: I thought when you scan the barcode it will take you directly to the shopping page but instead it just takes you to the goggle shopping website and you have to type the name of the item and when you search up a barcode that has nothing to do with shopping it still takes you to goggle shopping.
