দাবা has come to খেলা Eight rungs, from a race where only the pawns move to the whole game. Each piece is named in Bangla and says its name when your child picks it up: রাজা the king, রানি the queen, নৌকা the boat, হাতি the elephant, ঘোড়া the horse, সৈন্য the soldier. The pieces are drawn as the same pictures the Word Bank uses, so the game and the vocabulary are one thing. The opponent is meant to be beaten. A child who has just learned how the knight moves should be able to win, and this one lets them. Reading gives your child a moment to try first.
