Five stars — original, relaxing, and surprisingly deep
The format is simple and easy to play, but there’s a surprising amount of depth underneath it. No matter how strong you get or how much gear you collect, there always seems to be another plan forming. You’ll find yourself thinking, “I’m already in this sector, so I could finish that quest, pick up those trade goods, save fuel, unlock that area, or come back later with better weapons.” You’re constantly weighing up fuel, cargo space, passports/visas for different sectors, risk, reward, and timing.
One of my favourite things is discovering strange random items early on and not really knowing what they do until later. Then suddenly you realise: oh, I can open that safe now, or if I combine these things, or if I get those little drone weapons, I can go back and defeat that pirate. Those little moments of discovery make the game feel much deeper than it first appears.
The universe itself is also excellent — futuristic biology mixed with technology, robots, droids, AI, strange oceanic life, and lots of odd encounters between locations. It has a real PC-style exploration game feel, but it works beautifully on iPhone and is easy and relaxing to play.
There are a couple of small improvements I’d make, but overall this game is a breath of fresh air. It feels genuinely original, not like the endless mobile games that push ads, upgrades, timers, and pay-to-progress systems. BALDEOUJ feels like a proper little adventure game with its own personality, and I’m really glad I found it.
This is amazing

Only one problem
A lot of rules and mechanics
There are many resources to manage (fuel, money, inventory, passports, drone). I spent lots of time investigating and idk if it was worthwhile for anything. The world is very large. Managing currencies and passports was annoying. The bones of a good game are in here but I would like to see it concentrated down into something easier to digest, or have certain mechanics introduced gradually.

Thanks for the feedback. The idea of the game is that you have to travel around the world, engage with random encounters, fight battles and collect loot. Basically, just like any other roguelite or classic rpg. Basic principles of gameplay are quite simple, that's why tutorial is not very handholding. If you want you can email me (yiotro93@gmail.com) with more specific questions and I'll do my best to help you :)
