ABSOULUTELY horrible app
This is the worst sports streaming app. They had one job and that was to show the game, meanwhile I had the pause button and the skip 5 seconds and back 5 second on my screen the ENTIRE TIME, then the camera gets stuck in one position and then the stream ends while the last moments of the game is happening, and the price is an absolute joke, 45 dollars?? Some people like me are paying that just to watch one game… there should be more price options, I don’t even know why I’m writing this because they will PROBALY take it down so people don’t see how bad there app really is, if there was anything below one star review I’d give it that

Stream never worked and they are dicking around for a refund.
Trash Platform
This platform is amateurish at best. Searchability for teams fails consistently. Chat support is extremely limited in their ability to do anything to solve problems. And, they lose videos of matches. Just flat out lose them. Won’t be paying for this service ever again.
Disappointing
Second year. This year they charge for 3 months, knowing that 99% of the customers need it to just watch one tournament. But who cares. There is no competition and alternative. Does not matter that people are complaining in comments for years. That’s just do what they want with pricing.
Last year I was so mad to miss the game. This year I woke up at 6AM to watch a game (diff time zone) and stream died in 15 mins into the game. It did not restart even though support said we will send the crew. So I missed the game second year. It is absolutely ridiculous how bad the user experience is and they are still in business for years. I scrolled through the comments and was shocked how bad is feedback - and these dudes can’t make it working well. We need more one star reviews so at least Apple will reach out to them and remove their garbage from App Store and let someone else develop a great service.

This is a scam
This is a horrible app, it didn’t work 75% of the time. The camera is always buffering or the court where my kid is playing is down. Not to mention there is no spores or update on scores until the game is over. Then they didn’t mention before purchasing that they are only streaming from 1 location despite have 2 locations. This is not a good option for watching the games. Keep your money.

Paid 30 dollars to get my second half highlights
Good idea, poor execution
The resolution isn’t great, but it’s watchable. The real issue is connectivity. In 2 months we’ve had multiple games that just didn’t stream. Customer support seemed to be good, but they can only resolve issues so fast and by then the game is over. Not worth the money in my opinion.
Deceptive Plans
Don’t sign up - it is very deceptive. Your card is immediately charged for a full year. You can only access on game per month. Omission of material terms are being investigated.
I’d give zero stars if I could
I purchased a subscription to watch my kid’s out of state games when I couldn’t make it. Both tournaments, I spent more time with customer service than I did watching. When I was able to find the games, it was not even on the right court, the team names were incorrect half the time, and the stream was complete garbage. Expensive Lemon
Expensive subscription service with inconsistent streaming quality and frequent dropped games with no explanation. If you’re just buying this to watch specific teams I would stay away.
They never showed the game
I bought the basic package hoping to either watch live or replay. It never even recorded the game. It recorded a bunch of others and even let me sign up for an alert for when it went live but it never went live. Waste of money.
Terrible game footage
It’s a great concept but doesn’t work in practicality. Way over priced for what it does. We got a membership for three months for our son’s tournament in Dallas and the footage quality just isn’t good. Too distant and not enough resolution. Lots of wind noise. Doesn’t replace the need to just video your kids plays yourself. also way overpriced to have a limit on what you can download from the site. They cap you at three downloads I believe.

Games not listed, score incorrect
Tried to watch 2 games in tournament. One never went live but finally found rep,any but icons sat in middle of screen entire time and no score listed. Second game watched 1 team win in OT with camera blurry on right side and after game baller listed tie score. Terrible site.
Horrible
BallerTV rarely works properly. I’m sitting here, wanting to watch my daughter play in Phoenix and BallerTV once again has failed! I’m chatting with somebody live and they are completely worthless with any help.
Credits????
So I pay for a subscription to allow for 3 users and will use up my “credits” to watch one live game of one volleyball tournament????? Absolute trash. I will be cancelling this useless subscription immediately.
Will steal your money
I would not recommend this for anyone. They will continue to charge you even though you’ve told them multiple times you do not want their app. Last year they charged me and would only do a 50% refund. I was told then auto renewal was cancelled. This year they charged me again . I contacted them AGAIN and they want to only give a 50% refund. I did not authorize a charge. It should be a full refund. I’m filing with the better business bureau.

For the Price, it’s not great
In general for $130-$150 for the silver package, the quality of the app or stream isn’t great. First, the app was designed to primarily run on phones. Streaming on a iPad/ipad pro isn’t great. It doesn’t have decent app navigation - getting back to the home landing spot is a mystery. It doesn’t re-size natively in landscape mode. Secondly, the actual stream quality is less than 720 when watching live events. They claim that quality can be impacted by the local network and event. Nevertheless, at the AAU national championship, I would expect something closer to HD. I would say that quality is in the 480-520 resolution range. You can sorta identify players, but there’s no real detail. It’s like watching tv from the 90s. At least, I am able to stream unlike many other reviewers here.

I subscribed to BallerTV specifically to watch my kid’s basketball games.
During several tournaments, even for a major tournament, not a single one of my son’s team’s games was livestreamed. After multiple complaints, I was given generic responses about technical issues, possible recordings becoming available in 1–2 weeks.
Only after several rounds of emails did BallerTV finally admit that they were not covering that venue at all.
In other words, I paid for a subscription but my child’s games were not streamed.
Parents subscribe to watch games live. We don’t subscribe to find out afterward that the venue wasn’t covered, or to wait weeks for recordings of games that may never exist.
If you’re considering a subscription, be aware that paying for BallerTV does not necessarily mean you’ll be able to watch your child’s games.

Services not provided
I purchased a years subscription in hopes to watch the games live. I only got to watch one live game... then the next four games didn't appear until the next day or two after the tournament. I planned to give them the benefit of the doubt. But the very next tournament was unfindable, with no live games and finally one game from the championship showed up. I could have gotten over both of those offenses but when I asked for a refund of my subscription. They proceeded to send me about 20 emails pretending to not understand what I was asking. In the end they still did not refund me or pro rate a refund. Terrible service for someone who just wanted to be able to attend the games from afar. I'm also very disappointed in the customer service. They had an opportunity to make it right.
