Was great, now not!
I’ve used this app for years and loved it but since it was sold to Federal there have been few updates. The latest one actually removed most options from the database which has made it dreadful to use! Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

They used to have a complete bullet library now only have federal, Speer and Remington bullets

I have been using this app for over 15 years and bought it three separate times on different accounts as my go to ballistic solver.
But now whatever they are charging for it is too much. The app used to be great with regular updates adding new bullets as they were released. Then it slowed down, new stuff stopped being added but you could still utilize their existing library of hundreds of bullets from all manufactures.
But now? Federal came in and stripped everything out of it except Federal, Speer and Remington. The app is effectively worthless and I will actively avoid Federal, Speer and Remington ammo and projectiles as a result of this change.

Library seriously reduced
What happened to all the other bullet manufacturer data? I will have to delete this app now

This used to be one of the best ballistic apps on the market. Over the last few updates it’s been gutted.
Lost most of the bullet and load profiles. It’s still a good calculator but it doesn’t have much left to calculate with.

The update that dropped 4 days ago is ABSOLUTE TRASH!! The update absolutely destroyed the bullet and load database. Database used to have a ton of different manufacturers for bullets and factory loaded ammunition. But now it is only like 3. I can still manually input numbers in the app and it will work. I used to love the app because I could easily compare multiple different manufactures bullets quickly and easily. I LOVED the previous version. Hopefully there was a mistake in the app update. If this is how the app database is going to be, I will be looking for a new app. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CURRENT VERSION!!!

After the update 80% of your library is gone! The rangefinder screen does not fit proper on iPhone 17. Your app can be so much better, but is not. ChairGun is much better in all aspects.

Works great. UI is clean and useful. Has all the information without being over complicated

I've used parts of it with good success but some parts are not well supported with instructions and, thus not useable.
Great app … needs watch support
I love this app. Used it for years and it never disappoints. However, since starting to use the Ultra 3 Apple Watch, I really need the app to at least be mirrorable on the watch face for quick reference. Anything that you can do to make it work in conjunction with the Apple Watch (especially to offset the competition from AB on Garmin watches), it would be greatly appreciated!

Aussie ammo
I have been using the App for the past six years and find it does a great job especially with my 308 centre fire.
The only thing I would like to see added is Australian ammo, in particular, ADI, Australian Defence Industry. 😊

Problem with wind and zero POI
I’ve been using this for years. Very pleased UNTIL I noticed what I believe is a significant flaw in setting the zero POI. Once set - outside the zero atmospheric conditions- it remains absolutely fixed regardless of the conditions. If you set it at a particular set of values with zero wind, high altitude, and cool temperature, the POI at the zero range stays the same in a hurricane at the equator. Unrealistic. Hopefully, the error isn’t huge at long range, but I need to run the numbers. I’ve tried sending a message to the support, with no reply.

Love the app
This app has allowed me to accurately put first shots on target at range. I’m still working on wind, but have a solid distance. Have not been able to print favorites which would help in prairie dog fields.

Wind inputs not clear
Wind configuration is confusing. Can’t tell if the direction input is supposed to be where the wind is coming from or going. Is it okay to put in one yardage wind input or do you need to put in all of them? Old version was much better regarding wind.

Used to be a good app but the drag functions no longer work and it’s restricted to g1 only. Plus the cartridge & bullet library need a serious update.
Typical Federal.
This app like everything Federal touches is trash. Bullet database was probably accurate before covid, it's pathetic now. Saving settings is awkward at best and editing saved loads is also a pain. Given that our nanny state has banned Strelok, I'm still looking for an app that doesn't make me want to put a 140gr bullet through my phone.

Buggy
Bugs such as when you select your BC, weight of bullet and velocity it doesn’t save and go back to default, so.. pretty useless.
Also, no option to change units to metres, hPa for barometric pressure etc. Would be good app, but shouldn’t be released before its finished.

The UI is mostly quick and easy to use. The solutions seem accurate enough.
However, the latest update (6.7.1), “updated bullets and loads,” removed many common brands and loads. For example, there is no longer any 22lr CCI loads. Removing common loads really runs the app.
