Schlechte Medienauswahl

Die App für IOS-Endgeräte lässt keine andere Medienauswahl als Apple-Music zu.
Kein Zugriff auf eigene Ordner und dortiger Musik.
Bei Nicht-IOS-Engeräten funktioniert es aber. 🙁

Die App ist super und ist richtig toll für Endrundentraining oder freies Training. Wäre es möglich, dass die in der Zukunft auch auf die Playlisten der App von DanStream zugreifen kann?

Apple music not compatible

The app looks interesting on first blush and also seems to have some interesting features but unfortunately it does not work with Apple Music. You can select songs or select playlists but it will not find compatible music so it just won’t work. This one is a waste of dollars. It might work if you have some other media player or upload music to it but I use Apple Music and iTunes. No luck.

I am sorry the app did not meet your expectations. The app relies on you being able to organize your songs based on their associated metadata tags (of which tempo information is crucial). Apple Music and other streaming services don’t currently support that, and as far as I know, they also don’t support tempo adjustments. This is why the app is based on locally stored songs. Funktioniert nicht mit Apple Music

Die Musik aus Apple Music lässt sich nicht nutzen.
Von daher weich am liebsten die App wieder zurück geben!
Super ärgerlich und herausgeschmissenes Geld!

Adding support for streaming services is a larger change, but I have it on my list for a future update. Gute App mit Verbesserungspotential

App funktioniert wie beschrieben und ist damit sehr hilfreich für das Training.
Ich würde mir zwei Zusatzfunktionen wünschen:
1. Airplay Integration
2. Möglichkeit zum Erstellen eigener Tänze (z.B. Salsa, Bachata, Tango Argentino...)

Doesn’t seem to work with iTunes....

Really great idea but if I can’t use my library I’ve wasted my money. Also could not find a “contact developer” to ask questions.

Amazing

A *must have* tool for ballroom dancers. Easy to setup, easy to use. Handles all the rounds work for me. Takes all the work out of 10min rounds (other than the dancing of course).

Great App

The app is really great and it saves a lot of time. I’m using it every week for or my training sessions.
The only thing I’m really missing is the possibility to use my Spotify playlists.
Therefore I’ll give only 4 out of 5 stars.

Perfect for Training and Match Simulation

I have been using this app for a little less than a year now. I continue to find new uses for it and I have shared it with my dance group. The versatility of the program makes it extremely customizable for any style of dance, International Ballroom, International Latin, American Smooth, and American Rhythm are already predefined and I have added a multitude of dances that fall in the minors group. As one previous reviewer has stated, it is possible to setup a practice party list of random selections using playlists, random songs using genres, specific songs or a combination of all three. I was able to create a set of match heats that distinguished between bronze and silver tempo by adjusting the targeted BPM of the heat. It was nothing less than outstanding!

I would like to address one other reviewers comments regarding the developer of the software. He has been very responsive and helpful on more than one occasion as I was learning the functions of the program. He has always been receptive to requests and continues to improve the product based upon feedback from various users. Since I have had direct interaction with this person, I can say first hand that he is professional and courteous.

Invaluable to anyone wanting to practice

Love this app, makes practising for competition so much easier. Allows you to simulate a competitive environment by dancing for a set time to randomly selected music. So easy to personalise for your own requirements. Invaluable for all competitive dancers whatever your level or anyone wanting to practice.

Very customizable! Great for rounds.

I coach a team. Been using this app for about a year now. I use this to play simulation rounds. Just push play and it takes care of itself. Once I upgraded to the paid version, I even made custom emcee announcements that play between songs. I also use this app to play the weekly dance party. I even used it to play music for a parade where we needed one random song and one feature song alternating for an hour. You will need to organize your music into playlists by genre.

Excellent App

This app is great! It has everything I want for practicing competitive rounds.

The developer is very responsive and has quickly added and modified features as requested. (Well, he was. I haven't had a request or complaint for a few years now!)

Mostly terrific

It works well and is very versatile. Not terribly intuitive to program, but with some experimentation I was able to create the sessions I wanted with the songs I wanted. Very useful for general dance practice and for competition practice.

Outstanding

Superb app to practice for ballroom comps. Can set random intervals with random music selections. Absolutely outstanding and we'll worth the money.

Nach update leide unbrauchbar

Nach dem update stürzt die App ständig ab. Wenn sie doch mal läuft, rauscht die Musik fürchterlich. Hoffentlich kommt bald ein Update zur Fehlerbehebung.
