I’ve never left an Apple review but had to for this app. Made installing my balusters on an angled rake so easy. I’ve never done this type of work before and this made it a no brainer.
Don’t have more angles
Paid for nothing, dose not go past 40 degree angle I have a 55 degree angle on my stairs. Wasted my money for nothing

The fatal flaw of your app is the limit on angles. I have an older house and the stairs are 51 degrees, your app wouldn’t allow me to enter anything above 40 if I remember correctly. Loosen your tolerance!

By default the stair angle is set to 40°. If you go into settings, you can increase the angle as desired

Very useful app. Definitely due for an update. It’s very slow and kicks you out randomly.

Not compatible with metric units
It’s an okay, basic app. Works as described. It could use a few upgrades.
1 inch = 25.4mm. It only allows you to put in whole numbers for metric.
It would be nice to have a visualization tool, so you can see how the balusters would look between the post.
It would be nice to have the option to start with a center baluster and then space out evenly in each direction.

Use less
Their isn’t no way to enter the center measurement and when you tap on view tab, it kicks you right out of the app.

You must hit the done button after entering your valid measurements for the view button to display properly

When you tap the view button in the upper right hand corner from the main screen, you will see where you can mark centers or leading edges. Additionally, you can have the app read you the measurements so as to make it hands free.
Years of Consistent Successful Use
Apps don’t get more useful than this one. All those calculations nobody wants to make are made for you. Not only does this app work perfectly for balusters indoors and out, it gives you the layout for any project with spaced components. Then it reads you the numbers so you can mark with both hands.

I just started using this app but so far I think it's terrific. It pretty much matches up with my own recipe to calculate baluster spacing but saves me all those math steps.
Time saver for years
I’m a contractor and I’ve used this app for several years now. Yes it’s not fancy and it has its quirks however..the time it takes to learn to navigate it are well worth it. It’s very accurate and no frills. It just works and saves me and my crews a pile of time.
If you want something that has bling look elsewhere. However if you use it as a tool it is exactly what you need.

Simply lovely
I wasn’t sure how good this would be but seriously if your doing stairs get it! Saved me so much time not having to calculate it all with maths. Can’t rate it enough!
Works like it should
Once I figured out where to press it works great. Wish stair angle could be set to greater then 40 degrees. Would rate higher if it did.

Extremely useful
I,v had this app for a couple of years now, was a bit sceptical at first but after using it on several jobs it is a godsend.
I used to work out spindle spacings mathematically which was a pain,but now it’s so easy and accurate.

Not a bad app only issue is the maximum pitch you can calculate is 40* this is an issue for me in domestic property's!
Worth every penny!
I'm a residential carpenter and I love this app! It has saved me some much time and money while at the same time making for a much nicer final product. I not only use the app to lay-out balusters but also to lay-out wainscoting, coffered ceilings, shelving and even fencing.

Looks like it was written for iOS 2 and it's tricky to navigate as the navigation buttons are in weird spots and blend in with other buttons.

This is a fantastic tool. As a finish carpenter I use it almost daily for a variety of layout tasks not just baluster spacing. An invaluable app I think is a must have for any carpenter. Also new voice feature is pretty cool.

What an awesome find. Took all the guess work and calculations out of my project. Entered in a few basic numbers and then make the marks at the designated points. Could not be any simpler!!
