Rubbish
Just bought this on my iPad, doesn’t record my acoustic guitar just plays a drum track with bass? Can’t even delete the track.
App won't open
I bought this app and it won't even start
Great idea, doesn’t work
Chord recognition is not great, unless you are sticking to just basic triads and even then it will go with whatever is in the bass so inversions get weird. Worst part is it will only play out of the phone or tablet speakers - making the app totally useless if you’re actually making music and connected to a DAW or interface.

iOS 11 issue?
Is there an iOS 1 issue? Not all functions seems to be working well.
Awesome
This is great for practicing guitar. You can even sing the bass line and most of the times the app recognizes the correct progression. I can easily make backtracks and connect the phone to my amp and play over it. I used to own a Digitech Trio that did about the same thing, maybe with better tones, but it was a 300 bucks pedal. Also, the app seems to be easier to use and easier to “learn “.
The only thing, sometimes I need to restart my iPhone because No sounds can be heard, although the app appears to be running.

Great app for home practice!
I was looking at possibly buying the much heralded Digitech Trio + but when I found this little gem referenced in a forum, I went for it with a little bit of skepticism. I am glad I went for the full version because it works great for working out song ideas alongside a looper app with Audiobus. I’m using it with Quantiloop and Audiobus on the iPad Pro and let me tell you it is great. Strum your favorite chord progressions and it comes back with a great match in different genres. Initially, the bass was coming in too hot but it was easily remedied by adjusting the master control along with controls that level the bass and drums. I know that I’ll probably want to invest in something like Band in the Box in the future, but this intuitive app definitely bridges the gap at a reasonable price. Sacrifice your daily coffee at Starbucks and get this app. I hope the developer adds Bluetooth midi connectivity so I can use my irig blueboard and also allow options for exporting to the cloud as wav, aiff or mp3 for use with other apps. So far, this app has huge potential, please keep updating it!

Nice idea but app needs work
I wanted to like this app but I found it to be less than useful compared to things I can do better with other apps as well as had some technical glitches. The main thing I was interested in was to record electric guitar via Audiobus but when I played back the analyzed recording, the app's bass guitar had a very audible popping distortion. Also, the timing was never right when playing back the recorded tracks. In summary, I really like the idea of this app but it needs a lot of work to bring it to a level to compete with other apps. Ultimately, I found I could be much more productive recording with GarageBand, among many other recording apps.

Good Start
As the other reviews say a good start and promising. Does not work every time within Audiobus though. Could do with a delete button. I guessed it would overwrite but this does not always work and leaves the previous chords still in there. Also there is not an instruction of how many bars it will record. I presume it is infinite. Very poor almost non existent instructions although it is simple to use in most respects. Can only improve and hopefully it's not a one off developer and this is as far as it goes.

Very useful
Brilliant. Works with AudioBus as an output and input. And with AB Remote.
This adds some great uses for me, compared to Music Memos which doesn't have AB support.
Thanks to a very responsive dev.

PROMISING.
Simple concept; well executed. Only regret is that I recently shelled out £130 for the Digitech Trio pedal - this does almost the same thing for a fraction of the cost.
The app could do with a few more drum fills and a slightly more 'humanised' backing track overall as well as maybe some more guitar-oriented styles (don't think R&B is gonna be so useful but Country, Funk and maybe a 3/4 option would be nice).
It doesn't have the instant pattern/style recognition that Trio 'claims' to (and invariably fails to deliver) but it's just a matter of scrolling through and exploring the options, often yielding inspiring results.
Unfortunately Audiobus doesn't appear to be working at the moment but that's forgivable as this looks like an early edition of what could be a very useful jamming / song-sketching tool.

Fun
Fun, but pay attention to when you stop it will change the loop
Digitech Trio in app form
This app has got tremendous potential and is basically a variation on the Band-in-a-Box and Digitech Trio concepts. You play some chords and the app figures out an appropriate accompaniment on drums and bass. It's a fantastic practice, jamming, and songwriting tool.
Nice app - a few improvements would help...
Works well… but could use a few improvements:
- Seems to lack a ‘restart’ button, to go back to the beginning of the sequence when you want
- Would also be great to have some 3/4, 5/4 time signature options and some fills
looking forward to future developments...

Cool gemacht...

Update
I made a mistake in my review. It works great. I'm very impressed but can you route the backing audio to the digital output.
Seem pretty accurate
Two things. It would be great to export to wav or aiff. This will only play thru the iPad speaker. With or without interface connected. You have to play clean so the analysis is accurate. This is a good tool. It could be great!!!! Keep up the good work.
