What's New in BandJam

1.15.0

August 18, 2026

• Share a league with a link: sharing now sends a link that opens BandJam straight to the join screen with the code already filled in. No app yet? The link takes you to the App Store and remembers which league invited you. • See your own ballot: round results now show what you gave each track and who you guessed, even while voting is still open. • Scheduled Theme Bucket leagues: bucket leagues can now run on a schedule, with set submission and voting windows for every round. • Commissioners can manage rounds: commissioners can now delete upcoming rounds, not just reorder them. • Faster in places you notice: the tutorial's avatars are bundled instead of downloaded, song details are cached between launches, and GIF picker thumbnails load at thumbnail size. • Saving a league as a template now carries its pacing, so a template taken from a Scheduled league creates a Scheduled league. • Fixed Scheduled Theme Bucket leagues freezing after their first round. • Fixed league creation failing outright when a round had a photo prompt. • Fixed the app icon badge clearing itself while an action was still waiting. • Fixed the crew option missing from league creation until the Crews tab had been opened, which also hid Theme Bucket mode. • Fixed a duplicate "submissions complete" notification on Scheduled leagues. • Fixed profile photos briefly failing to load after being changed.

Better than anything else

This is FAR better than the competition. The only thing I'd ask for is a way to cap the rounds of a Crew Bucket-based league, so people can submit themes while having a regular league cadence. For example, cap at 5 rounds, it picks 5 themes, marks them as "played" as the league goes, then people can continue to submit and we have regularly selected winners. Thanks for the great app!

Better than Music League

All you need to know is whether this is actually better than Music League. It is.

(The only downside is the lack of a web version, but if you’re on a Mac you can download the iPad version to your Mac, or use iPhone Mirroring, if you want a full keyboard to write comments and such. Otherwise I believe it to be better than ML in every sense.)
