Needs to be updated!
I loved this timer until I updated my iPad and now it will not work. I used this in my classroom everyday. Please update this app!

The app doesn't go into landscape and when you open it it's upside down with the ipad. So, you have to flip the ipad. Not a problem unless you have a zagg keyboard like I do and then none of the plugs, speaker and charger fit the holes in the zagg case.

All ipad stands stand one way. This app is locked out upside down. It is completely useless unless you lay it flat on the table, and who uses an ipad that way? Total waste of time, uninstalled.

Good idea but no rotation?
I really like this implementation... Mostly. But why doesn't the app rotate on the iPad? Am I missing something? There's no app settings? I'm a music teacher and I like all the funny sounds and the giant button, but I use my iPad in a mounted stand that only rotates in one direction. Taking advantage of the iPad's gyroscope should be default by now. And no I can't simply flip the iPad over in the stand because the volume button is obscured by the stand if I change it (another poor execution). If the developer adds full rotation, or adds a setting then I'd buy this app. I also think the Big Button should be the start/stop button. It could be a game where you can complete a task and hit the big button to stop it BEFORE the timer sounds. To me that's worth money! Cheers.

Every time you press the buzzer, a message pops up asking you to pay £1.49 for the full version. As if! Don't bother downloading

This app is crap. You get to listen to one sound and then it comes up with something saying you can't listen to any more unless you pay £1.99 for the upgrade when you can but it keeps popping up and it got really annoying so I deleted this app. I would give it no stars but it won't let me. DON'T GET THIS APP!!!!

Would be great except for constant nag screens...
I was looking for a countdown timer to help us play a family version of Just A Minute. This ticks all the right boxes.
There are various preset times, including 1 minute which is perfect. The display is good too. There's even a times up whistle you can choose.
BUT... The app is constantly popping up a nag screen asking me to buy extra sounds which I don't need or want. And when I say constantly, it has popped sometimes 2 or 3 times over the course of one minute! Or it can not happen for 4 or 5 minutes.
When it does pop up, it prevents the timer from starting, which is a real pain in a timed game! If they fix the nag screen to be less constant and obtrusive (once you've asked me if I want to upgrade, you don't need to ask me again this session) then I'd give it 5 stars.

Sound works for me, so does the whole app

It's awesome. Buy it it's worth it. Every penny but... I could use some things so I removed one star. It could use crowd laughing, gun shot, and turkey sound.
