Having never picked up a banjo in my life, the free trial definitely got me started - lessons are easy to follow and well paced. But the community keeps me growing. Was scared but love the Daily Practice Room!
Super annoying
I didn’t choose to learn on a app to be bombarded with emails and notifications. If I wanted to talk to people I would take lessons in person

Apologies for the emails and notifications which can easily be turned off. You can also just access the lessons without engaging with other players in the Course Library. Sorry we weren’t a good fit for you and good luck on your banjo journey!

Gave me hope
I’ve picked up a few instruments through the years and never really stuck with any of them. I felt like I had no musical talent. I’ve started working through this program and actually feel like I have a chance at getting decent at this. The community is great too.

I’ve wanted to learn to play banjo for a long time but had been told it was a tough instrument to pick up at my age (late 60s). Banjo Mountain instruction and community are helping me get closer to this goal every day and have fun all along the way.

This is a supportive community. The site also offers “playing” feedback which is extremely helpful for growth. I’m looking forward to trying the practice journal.
The perfect beginner course
I’ve been using Banjo Mountain for almost a year now and have gone from a complete beginner to being able to play full songs easily. The course is super easy to follow with detailed videos, and the support you get from the community is even better. I’ve loved sharing my banjo journey with other enthusiasts and any questions I’ve ever asked have been answered so quickly. If you want to learn how to play banjo, this is the place.

With lots of great lessons, a friendly and supportive community forum and excellent teacher with personal feedback the app lets you take all this with you. Now I can access Banjo Mountain easily and quickly.

I love Banjo Mountain. Bluegrass music has always been a favorite of mine and love the sound of the banjo but never thought I would ever play it.
Then a banjo was gifted to me and had no idea where to start. Quite by accident, I found Banjo Mountain and it’s made learning such a pleasure.

Love Banjo Mountain
I love Banjo Mountain for many reasons: The lessons are excellent, the teacher is excellent, and the value for the membership is incredible! My favorite part about Banjo Mountain is the community. Being able to take the community with me in my pocket and share as well as ask questions is wonderful!
