Every update is worse. Can't deposit checks.
I am stuck using this app because I don't really want the hassle of changing my business bank. I have 2 big gripes. 1) Why don't they include a decimal point when depositing checks?? 3rd graders know the difference between 1.00 and 100 2) When depositing checks the app just crashes about 80% of the time. Sometimes you get lucky. Maybe I will change banks.

IOS 16 Issues
The "register device" function does not retain its setting and now the app requires you to get a code and register your device everytime you log in.

Im not sure where all the negative comments are coming from? Everything I need to do, from moving money around, to depositing checks, to just viewing account balances works fine. I love this bank!

Only one thing works on the app
With the recent update I am only able to access the more section at the top left of the screen. The app doesn’t even allow me to check how much money I have or what it’s being spent on with the new update. It worked fine before but now it isn’t even useable.
It Would Be Nice If The App Worked
I deleted the app and then reinstalled it, hoping that would fix the numerous bugs in it. No such luck! My balances show up but none of the other functions work. Can’t get into the menu, can’t see account activity; pretty useless at this stage!

The bank recently updated? upgraded? the app and i haven’t been able to do mobile banking for a week. Works for some but not for others. No one knows when it will be fixed.
Terrible app crashes constantly
The main reason I use a mobile app is for check deposit. At least 75% of the time I try to remote deposit a check the Bank of Marin app hangs after both photos are taken. I just get a black “Loading” screen. Then I have to force quit the app and start all over. Extremely frustrating
Mobile deposit not working
App has been broken for months. Mobile deposit screen goes through all the motions then gets stuck on “loading” after I’ve submitted the deposit. Never goes through, just gets stuck and I end up driving 45 minutes to the physical bank. Worthless and frustrating.
Site was better before
This update is clunky and much harder to use. Definitely not user friendly. May have to move everything to Bank of America. Hope it is reverted back to the old site.
Disappointing
Looks like maybe some coding issues with this new app. Won’t let me in and got locked out after two failed attempts. Too bad.

I think the new app and web interface is an improvement. It is quite similar in many ways to the previous system but with some additional features. Well done Bank of Marin!

What a mess. It was fine before. Change for the sake of change? Might be time to move to credit union.
A step backwards
The new redesign was released this morning and I, for one, am not a fan. Not only does the UX/UI feel clunky and stale (something I’d expect from, say, Bank Of America), but many pages — including the activities page — don’t even display correctly in mobile. Feels like the developers modeled this thing off some early 2000’s design.
The app used to have a pleasant, simple layout that was focused on letting users perform a wide variety of banking tasks.
Now, it’s stuffed with “feature bloat” forcing me to ignore additional financials tools and service options provided a third party. Seriously, Bank Of Marin? Is my data being sold/rented to MoneyDesktop, LLC now?
