Can’t See Credit Card - Late Payments
This bank has gone down hill since 2017, I used to work here and they have just never been able to get the app right, which is crazy because it’s not that hard to build a simple interface and plug in the API for their credit card, which is my problem. Multiple times in the last few years the credit card balance and payment due is just not available, you either have to dig for it or the app section just isn’t there. I requested paper statements, and just like the last new credit card to replace my expired card, they won’t mail it to my correct legal address on file, they keep mailing it to a 3yo address, it took MONTHS to get a new credit card. I’ve told them about it, they fix it once, then it reverts. Now I have a late payment, late fees, and a negative mark on my credit card that BTC will likely never fix. I’m just going to transfer my balance and stop using this card, it doesn’t even offer good perks, it’s just connected to my regular checking, which I’m about to change soon too.

NOT GOOD since mid October 2025
Basic and uncomfortable interface. I would change banks to get away from this app if I didn’t like the people in my home town bank. It barely works on iPad, and only portrait mode. Forget about TouchID log-in on your iPad, but remember the upper right ‘Continue’ link if you use it at all. Don’t expect info on much beyond your checking or savings accounts, you’ll need to go elsewhere to find mention of rates or CDs. I’ve been trying to get comfortable with this since mid-October.

Terrible interface
Credit card shows like $9,999,999.99 and you can’t see the balance on line of credit when you want to make a payment. Interface is choppy, inconsistent, and worse than before, idk who approved this new “look”, but it does not deliver better functionality or appearance.

The Bankers Trust app is highly disappointing with basic functionality unlike competitors’ apps.

I would say they kept things under control for a very long time. However selling my information was not in the cards for me. I would appreciate a sit don’t talk with a representative some day soon.

Nothing beats having a bank that isn’t a huge national entity. I’ve had horrible experiences with 2 of them. They don’t care at all about little people.

Reliable Banking with Bankers Trust
I have enjoyed working with Bankers Trust for over 30 years. They have wonderful staff, dependable banking reputation and the on-line application is also easy to use.
Issues with regions
I was able to update my regions on my card and now it won’t load google maps so there goes that feature.
Horrible app
This app is terrible, I have to login in all the time, reset my password constantly, when I reset it, I’m told I can’t use a old password so obviously I know my password. It’s a disaster.

The business app is beyond annoying. So many reasons I can’t even start here. No improvements in over 10 years.
A good basic, if somewhat incomplete, tool
This is a good, basic banking app. Day to day details, balances, bill pay, transfers, all work intuitively. But if you need information like interest rates, or CDs, you won’t find it on this app. At least I couldn’t. I had to login to the bank site via an Internet browser. Sure it beats going to the bank and talking to a kid over the counter, but my other bank apps include tabs to get to more detailed information.

I think bakers trust is a great bank. One thing I think they could improve on getting deposits out faster, especially when our jobs have posted our payroll on Wednesday…..
It’s okay, could use some improvements
Overall, app is very efficient and easy to navigate when dealing with personal banking information. However, very frequently when I try to log in with facial recognition it fails to work and it causes me to change my password majority of the time. Not sure if it’s a software issue but sometimes gets annoying.

Mobile App Deposit
The ability to deposit a check via the mobile app is the best!

Not a bad app by any means. Wish there was more security. 2FA would be great. Also my new phone seems to have broke facial recognition. The app is presenting fingerprint auth (which isn’t an option on the iPhone 14). Devs need to update the app.
