Good first app but needs improvements

Overall the app works well, I've not had it crash or freeze which is great 😀. But in order to use functions of the app it needs to work when the phone auto locks. For example - thermometer setting only works when the app is running on the phone so the fire does not self adjust to the set point. You just overheat 🔥🔥 until the phone is unlocked and the app connects to the wifi module.

Please can this be resolved, thanks
