About
Track stock across locations with barcode scanning, stocktakes, reorder lists, and valuation reports. Inventory Tracker helps small businesses record items and stock movements, review what may need restocking, and prepare figures to discuss with an accountant.
KEY FEATURES
• Scan barcodes with Apple's on-device scanner to find or add items. Optional barcode lookup suggests a name and brand for you to confirm.
• Record stock movements and see how quantities change by location. Keep a history when you archive an item.
• Run stocktakes and compare what you count with your recorded stock.
• Check the reorder list for items that may need restocking. Pro can calculate reorder points.
• View stock valuation based on the movements you recorded, and make a PDF report. Confirm the figures and valuation method with your accountant.
• Import items from a spreadsheet made in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets. Review each row before adding anything, or get a blank template to fill in.
• Back up your items, movements, reports, and photos to a file you keep where you choose. Restore from a backup when moving to another phone; restoring replaces the data currently in the app.
• Add item photos from your camera or photo library. With Pro, make printable labels and use variants to organize related items.
• With Pro, record lending and add a widget showing the reorder count, a few item names, and stock value.
WHAT'S FREE / WHAT PRO ADDS
Free includes barcode scanning, up to 50 items, one location, all movement types, stocktakes, the reorder list, and valuation with a watermarked PDF. Sample stock does not count toward the item limit. The free version shows Google AdMob banner ads, occasional full-screen ads at natural breaks, and optional rewarded ads.
Pro removes ads and the item and location limits. It adds calculated reorder points, variants, PDF and spreadsheet exports without a watermark, labels, lending, and the widget. Saved data stays available if Pro ends. You can restore a purchase in Settings.
PRIVACY
No account or login is needed. Your items, movements, locations, people, reports, settings, and item photos are kept in space on your iPhone that only this app can open. The reorder count and stock value are also kept in a private space shared with the widget. Backups stay where you put them. Reports, backups, labels, and the import template go where you save or share them.
Barcode lookup is on by default. When you scan, it sends only the barcode number to the Open Food Facts family of open databases to suggest a name and brand. You confirm the suggestion before using it. Turn off Look up barcodes in Settings to stop sending barcode numbers. If a barcode is not found, you can type the name. No cookies are used for lookup. The app has no account and does not sell or share your stock data.
Items are archived to keep their history. You can remove sample stock. Deleting the app removes its data from the phone, so keep a backup elsewhere if you need to move your records. If app data cannot be read, it is set aside instead of being written over.
