The scanner bar code cannot read any of the barcode lines my packages have on them. Mostly a scammer not a scanner!

Tried to get it to read several different bar codes and it does nothing but keep scanning.

Why is there a fee when these are free all over the Internet? And there better not be a charge to the account of mine because for some reason it let me use it a couple of times, when I was trying to see what was going on
