2.0.2
August 16, 2026
2.0.2 is a quality release that hunts down and closes the paths where data you thought you had saved was quietly lost — even though the build was green and the tests passed. The whole codebase was audited and every defect it surfaced is fixed here. There are four pillars. 1. Data that was never being saved — Notion number properties (a book's price and page count, a food item's nutrition values) had never once been saved. The same applied to the Food package's product name, Nutri-Score and product image, and to publish date and page count for non-Japanese books. Barcodes stocked while offline could also be pushed as an empty page; that is fixed too. 2. Sync reliability — fixed duplicate Notion pages created by repeated retry taps, history stuck at "sending", and auto-sync sometimes not starting after connectivity was restored. 3. Failures are visible now — errors that used to produce no reaction, or look like something else entirely, now explain themselves in place. A failed history load no longer shows up as "No history". 4. Custom API for BarNoR Plus — register your own API, let BarNoR discover the fields it returns from a sample barcode, and map them to your Notion properties. Also fixed: the camera could stay on after closing the scanner, "pull to restore purchases" in Settings did not actually restore, and Japanese two-tier book barcodes could be missed. Upgrading from 2.0.1 preserves your history and package settings.
