Can we calculate volume as liquid is consumed or removed?
it will be even more useful if it calculated the volume of a barrel as it empties. I have a barrel of diesel and I like to know how many gallons are still inside.

Thank you for your question! Just enter the current liquid depth in the barrel from either an upright or horizontal position, and it will calculate how much liquid is left. This is the primary purpose of BarrelCalc, but it does rely on an accurate measurement of the barrel dimensions and a selection of the barrel geometry that is closest to your barrel. If you know the exact volume of your barrel you can enter a correction factor if BarrelCalc is slightly off in its volume estimate, which should increase the accuracy of all subsequent calculations.
