Maybe the best!
While I have tried all the cocktail apps out there, this is the best of the ones I’ve tried. Craft cocktails, great variety, and very classy look.
Almost great
Has the developer abandoned the app? It is so close to being great. Really needs quality of life improvements such as: being able to sort your favorites and custom cocktails; needs a notification method for notes you may enter. Improved modern pantry; a way to ensure uniformity upon entries such as with drop down menus.

Handy cocktail app for the home
Love exploring the app to create new drinks! We are expanding our home bar and have found this extremely helpful! The only thing I wish the developers would add would be an add your own cocktail recipes.

Very large selection of recipes, searchable by ingredient. Even better than the late Mixology app R.I.P. in that user can save their own recipes.
cross device account sync
wrote about this a year ago but still hasnt happened. if you put this app on two separate devices but one account, your favs, bar inventory, notes etc don’t sync. would also like to see “notes” highlighted here add. notes so you can be aware you entered some. great if you made notes months ago and forgot.

This app is EVERYTHING I was looking for in a cocktail app. I LOVE that the premium version is a one time purchase. This has exponentially upped our home bar game!

This cocktail app is beautifully designed and easy to navigate, making it simple to discover new drinks. The recipe library is extensive, with clear instructions and gorgeous photos that inspire you to try something new. I especially love the ability to save favorites and create shopping lists directly from the app. It’s a must-have for both beginners and seasoned cocktail enthusiasts.

BarSpoon is a well-designed, easy-to-use app that makes home mixing a breeze. I love being able to store my recipes, add notes, and “heart” my favorites for quick access.
To make it even better, I’d love to see:
• Search by strength (e.g. low ABV, mocktail, non-alcoholic)
• Recipe scaling for adjusting quantities from 1 drink to 2+
These features would add flexibility without complicating the clean interface. Great app overall—excited to see how it evolves!

I don’t write reviews. But this app is great. My only gripe would be for it to rotate to landscape on the iPad and my favorites to sync between the phone and iPad.
It’s got a beautiful look and the content is exceptional. Worth the premium buy for sure.

The BEST Cocktail App
I’ve tried all the pay-for-play bar apps and seriously, none of them can compare to the BarSpoon app. I tell all my friends about it and I use it all the time as I have a pretty extensive home bar. It motivates me to make drinks I would have never thought of.
If I could suggest one thing though - for the drink recipes that I can make with the ingredients in my bar - please make a “surprise me” selection or a way to filter recipes by base liquor so that way when I feel like having a certain base then I can pull up recipes that I can make using it.
Regardless, I don’t use my other app for my cocktail recipes. Thank you for making this app! The interface if classy, the drinks are amazing.

Unresponsive in app keyboard
Heard so many good things about this app, and was left thoroughly disappointed with the laggy unresponsive keyboard typing. Please fix this and you’ll have something great. Cheers

Missing a lot of information and key capabilities. But it’s a good start. The UI is nice. The UX needs some work. Database of spirits is lacking.
Ugh so close
After trying almost every cocktail app on the App Store, I thought I finally found the one. Aesthetic, organized, almost perfect. The dealbreaker is sharing the recipe with others. When you share link it forces recipients to open the app if they have it. Or download the app if they don’t. If they’re opening the link on desktop they are totally out of luck. Impossible. There’s not even a PDF option. I just want to share my creations with my friends. Developers: if you fix this you’ll get 4 stars from me. Add a web based version for editing and a cloud backup, and you’ll get 5 stars and a subscription!

The best app for cocktails
I have tried so many different cocktail apps, and this is simply the best. Beautiful interface and easy to navigate. Upgraded to the premium version. Totally worth it.
Best I have found
After trying most every bar app in the store, I settled on this one. After walking through all the features of it, I upgraded to the paid version. I have since filled my virtual cabinet and added a handful of personal favorites of the house.
The other thing to consider is the quality of recipes within an app. These all appear to be top quality recipes and with the exception of special syrup liqueurs, it doesn’t specify name brand liquor which is nice.

Add your home inventory and get suggested recipes
One of the best apps out there where we can add all the ingredients we have at home and it suggests recipes based on it so I paid for the upgrade and then next update (4.5), the whole layout changed and it took a while to understand where that feature went. Please be cognizant that layout changes need a walkthrough at times. It’s hard to keep up, Especially when you want to open the app right when you are planning to play the host for guests and can longer find the right thing.
