About

BASEBALL AT CARDS is a single-player roguelike deckbuilder where every at-bat is a hand of cards, every game is a fight against a boss pitcher, and every run ends the moment you lose. FREE TO TRY, ONE-TIME UNLOCK Download and play a free sample game to learn the ropes. Unlocking the full game — the complete branching run, all hitter archetypes, every boss, and the economy — is a single one-time in-app purchase. No subscriptions, no ads. BUILD YOUR ROSTER Start with 9 Average Joe players, each contributing 6 cards to your 54 card deck. Recruit new archetypes — power hitters, contact specialists, base stealers, count control artists — and replace any of your 9 slots as you go. Every archetype has unique cards that will affect your runs. WALK THE MAP The run is a branching path, not a ladder. Regular-season stops (games, training, events) earn you cash and buffs but no new talent. Playoff stops (boss fights, shops) are where you recruit and spend — go bust-and-boom or grind it safe. FIGHT LIKE A PITCHER'S NIGHTMARE Balls, strikes, fouls, steals, bunts, wild pitches, home runs — each card you draw is a decision. 21 boss pitchers carry their own rule-bending modifiers (shrunk innings, faster outs, forced ball counts) that turn a familiar deck into a fresh puzzle every time you draw one. ONE RUN, ONE SHOT Permadeath: lose a single fight and the run is over. Every draft, every shop visit, every event choice matters right up to the final unknown "ace" waiting at the end of the road. - 13 hitter archetypes with distinct card compositions. - A branching, regenerating run map — no two runs play the same. - 21 boss pitchers with unique modifiers, plus a fogged finale pool of 3. - A scripted event system with real trade-offs, not just flavor text. - One-time purchase unlocks the full game — no subscriptions, no ads.
