Great app for a baseball fan!!

I have been a subscriber is the early 1990’s but also I am a collector and have copies from the first year ( 1942 ) when they started and it is wonderful to see how they evolve and change with the times. A must for a baseball enthusiast!!

A must for a baseball enthusiast!!!

Still Great after all these Years

Used to subscribe and read BD as a kid. This modern version still has the old form and greatness without the hassle of carrying issues with you since they are all on your device. Would love to see hockey digest and soccer digest return again πŸ˜€

Baseball

It is awesome

Crash and burn

I have a subscription to BBD so will I still have to pay? Crash and will not open after download

Another fake app

I bought this hoping I would have access to many Baseball Digest issues. All it is is one issue and you have to buy the rest.
I hate apps that are just a waste~you have to buy something after you buy this app. It would be nice if iTunes could label these as this is not the first app I have wasted my money on.

Great magazine for decades, nice to have in iOS

I have been reading Baseball Digest since Dale Murphy was a catcher. Great writing, fantastic stats and historical references. The app can definitely be improved with background loading and faster page rendering. The economics of it are screwy. There are six issues per year. The single issue cost is $1.99, so buying each issue for the year will cost $11.94. The yearly subscription price is double that. I think I'll keep the extra $12 and just buy each issue as it is released. Buy it for the great writing and cross your fingers that it will continue to be improved.

Waste of $$$

Disspointed

Not in the content, but presentation. The text is not all that clear. It s fuzzy.
Also, why doesn't the downloaded edition appear in the iPad newsstand?
