THIS APP IS AMAZING

(NOT A BOT REVIEW) I downloaded this app 3/30/26 and was not expecting such a great app. It literally covers everything and is updated daily. All stats are updated and accurate. I have no issues with this app. When I get paid next week I will be donating at least $20 to the app. I don’t know if the creator of this app will ever see this review but thank you for creating such a masterpiece. It has helped me miraculously.

Love it

Thank you. I found this from your Reddit post after googling why ABapp was not showing followed players on the homepage anymore. Now I can see followed players instantly.

Great app

I like we can see every at bat notifications for hitters why not pitchers? Please add it.

Everything All In One Place

This app is intuitive and has everything I care about right in one screen. The UX is flawless. Highly recommend for baseball fans

Awesome app

I’m using this on Apple Watch and it’s great. The only few things I don’t like is there is no schedule on the watch. Also if the game is finished it won’t show anything if you click on it. Those are 2 things that might need to be fixed. Other than that you can get play by play, live scores, rhe (runs hits errors), the score by inning, the stats like exit velocity launch angle and stuff, and you get to pick your favorite team. Honestly I also have sports alerts the app and the mlb app on my watch and baseball live is better than both of them because those ones don’t have all the good features. But if your looking for nfl, nhl, nba, that stuff do sports alerts. Hey creator of baseball live can you make an Apple Watch app for the different sports(nba nhl nfl) that stuff. Pls. BASEBALL LIVE IS A AWESOME APP

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words, and thanks for using the app! I hear you loud and clear on the watch features, I’m working to rebuild the watch version to port all the features of the phone app to the watch! (As well as the Mac, iPad, and other platforms too). A few others have requested the other sports too. It’s a bit tough supporting them given I’m the only one working on the app, but I’m hopeful to recruit others for that reason specifically!

Great App!

Very nice app! You can set it up with as much detail as desired. I’m also a huge fan of the live activities and the push notifications.

Updated:

While the app is great, the developer is awesome and works to get things running smoothly when they are not.

Response from developer

I’m so sorry the notifications are not working for you. If you send an email to support@baseballlive.app I can take a look!

Terrific

I like everything about this. My only suggestion is to reword the notifications. For example, when a team scores, it reads “Yankees scored. The Dodgers now trail the Yankees 1-0.” It should read that the Yankees lead the Dodgers. Notify the team that wins not “Braves lose.” Otherwise, near perfect.

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback! The notification text was designed this way such that the team you have the notifications for is the one highlighted. So if you have notifications on for the Dodgers, it’ll denote the effect of the scoring on the dodgers “they now trail”/“they now lead” and the game result “Dodgers lose”/“Dodgers win”. Yes it does sound different than how someone would normally describe the game in general, but I felt it was more helpful to be specific to the team the user is following via notifications. But I can add a setting to switch this if that’s not desired!

Good app! Although…

Very nice app! You can set it up with as much detail as desired. I’m also a huge fan of the live activities. I do wish the push notifications worked though. It would make this app that much better!

Simple and Clean

This is a fantastic app. It's simple, it's clean and it's snappy. Loads quickly and looks good. The notification options actually work.

I wish it had three things: 1) the ability to change the theme separate from the system settings 2) the ability to see notifications for pitching changes and 3) the ability to have team logos as the app icon.

Simple but simple is good

There is no wow factor. There is no fancy features. Just a simple game tracker. I can’t stress enough how great not having a bunch of clutter on my screen. I can glance at my phone and see exactly what I’m looking for all at a glance. I’ve recommended it to everyone lol. Great job!

P.S. dark mode for widget maybe?

Incredible App

This app is a true game changer! I love the clean look and how it lets me follow my favorite team easily and efficiently. I recommend this app to all of my friends-I couldn’t do the baseball season without it!

Great App

This app is great living overseas. It lets me track the game while I’m at work. With a less bloated, cleaner layout than the MLB app.

It’s been buggy lately but hopefully gets fixed before the regular season begins.

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words on the app! Yes it’s a little buggy at the moment, but I’ve been hard at work on a huge update coming for this year that should be ready for opening day. Stay tuned!

Awesome App - One Bug Fix Request

This is my favorite baseball app! It’s so clean and simple, I love using it. My only issue I noticed recently is that the notifications settings aren’t working. When I open them it just loads forever. I tried to re-install but it can’t load so I can’t set my team’s notifications. Hopefully this can be fixed so I can use it again! Thanks so much

Response from developer

Thank you for the nice review! Yes I had to turn off the notification server for the offseason, but I have a major update coming in the next couple of weeks that will add that back, as well as have number of new features. Stay tuned!

Perfect

Can't come up with anything negative. Good job developer! (Now make a NFL app haha)

An App for True Baseball Fans

This is a fantastic app and has replaced MLB Gameday as my go-to for following games. So much information displayed in a concise format and I prefer the live, pitch-by-pitch view from the pitcher’s perspective.

Definitely worth checking out.

New favorite baseball app

Have had this app for a few days, found it through Reddit. Love how simple it is to use and how much info I can easily find. It’s much more enjoyable to track the score of games on my phone’s locked screen, I hated the way Bleacher Report or the MLB app handled that. A few bugs but nothing that impacts the app or makes it hard to find what I’m looking for. Thank you Chris!!!

Great app, few suggestions

I have been using this app for a couple days now, and I have come across a few bugs that should be addressed. Unfortunately, every player’s birthday seems to be listed as being in January. And I was looking at Isaac Paredes’ place of birth and it said “Hermosillo, -1, Mexico.”

I love the rooting interest feature. It makes this app unique to the other baseball apps I own (ESPN, MLB). I like the schedule posted on the main interface. The app’s simplistic design allows me to easy navigate its features. This is a solid app for being so new.

Response from developer

Thanks for catching these issues! Both the birthdays and places of birth should be fixed in the latest update.

Good stuff

This is one of the best sports tracking apps. Minimalist design but packed with easy to find info. Only thing I'd suggest is being able to favorite multiple teams but otherwise great app.

Made for Baseball Fans

I’ve used numerous sports apps from ESPN and CBS Sports; ‘Baseball Live’ is the most user friendly and efficient app that I have used.

After selecting your favorite team, you are able to see the score, standings, and schedule in one view without prompting another screen.

Selecting a game makes it easy to see every play and a simplistic box score. Like all good baseball apps, it also includes a pitch tracker that lets you see called balls and strikes (and where they sit in the strike zone).

I am someone who loves to see league leaders for each statistic; this app makes it incredibly easy to see who leads the majors, national, and american league in every category in a few quick clicks. As for an app like CBS Sports, you need to navigate a few pages to see a janky page with league leaders (and it is far from user friendly).

Lastly, this app doesn’t track any user data, so you don’t have to worry about it tracking your location or personal data. An app that doesn’t ask for more than it needs to function? What a novel concept.

Overall, I love this app. It has quickly become one of my most used iPhone apps in a short period.

VERY easy navigation

Love my favorite team home page. Schedule, scores, roster all on one page. Very simple to use and informative. If you follow MLB I would definitely give Baseball Live a try!
