What's New in BaseballScorer
1.4
July 8, 2026
What's new in 1.4: • Score for Me — step away and let the app keep your scorecard current from the live MLB feed, then pick scoring back up by hand anytime, even ahead of the feed. Pauses briefly on the final out of each half-inning so you can see how it was scored, recovers automatically when a challenged call is overturned, and shows you when a game is in a rain delay. • Correct batting handedness — switch hitters and left-handed batters now show accurately, and you can set the batting side for any at-bat (tap the batter's handedness line). Handy for switch hitters and for non-MLB games. • Game-start notifications — a heads-up about 15 minutes before a favorite team's first pitch. Tap it to jump straight into scoring. Enable in Settings → Notifications. • Team logos and commemorative event emblems on your scorecards — add your own team logos, and All-Star Game and postseason scorecards get event artwork. • Siri & Shortcuts — "Score today's [team] game in BaseballScorer." • Fixes and polish — a new "Missed Play" button for plays you didn't see, correct fielding-error attribution, accurate game-over detection, batting-around display fixes, and sharper scorecard printing.
