I honestly love using the Baseline app!! It’s been a total game changer! Before this, I was constantly bouncing between multiple apps trying to piece together the info I needed, which was frustrating and time consuming. Now, everything is in one place, and it just makes sense.
The features are incredibly helpful and actually feel built for real people who spend time outdoors. And just when I think it can’t get any better, the founder releases even more mind blowing features I didn’t know I needed.
It’s simple to navigate, super reliable, and runs smoothly every time I use it, which is huge when you’re out in the field and don’t want to deal with glitches.
If you’re into hunting or fishing, I can’t recommend Baseline enough. It’s one of those apps you didn’t realize you needed until you have it and now I couldn’t imagine a life without it!

I wish I had this app when starting out
I don’t use the hunting options, but for fishing this is the most versatile app out there.
The fact that river-based regulations, water levels, current hatches, tides, and weather are all in one place is a huge benefit.
The app doesn’t have anything you can’t get somewhere else, but it ties it all together in one place that’s easy to see and with offline access. I also like supporting a small developer with skin in the game (no pun intended).

This app is great! Everything you need for outdoors in one place, not only is it fishing and hunting. You can utilize it for just about anything outdoors. Whether it’s hunting, fishing, hiking, kayaking, you name it. The app is built for the users and only continues to get better!

Honestly, when I first got it I was hesitant to switch from OnX since I had been using that app for the last 7ish years. After, learning how to import pins and tracks and seeing how everything was all in one place it was a no brainer. On top of that, what you get exceeds the value of any other hunting or fishing app, you get everything all in the same place with out having to pay an arm and a leg. Plus if you meet the ceo, you’ll know he is about his business and is a true outdoorsman.

Makes learning easy
This app deserves 5 stars in every aspect. I’ll be the one to say as a female in the fishing world, Driftline has made getting out on the water so much less intimidating. I love that it gives me an idea of what to pay attention to. The app is clean, easy to understand, and doesn’t feel like it’s only built for hardcore anglers, and with no judgement either. It’s nice to see something that feels welcoming to women who enjoy fishing too, whether you’re just starting out or have been fishing for years. It’s become the number one app for women and men and kids all around. The turn around on the suggestions is amazing as well. This feels like a huge break from the invasive and hard to navigate apps.

Update to prior review: Baseline continues to improve. It’s amazing what this app delivers all in one place. Gone are the days of checking multiple government websites to get water data to add to my catch journal. The integrated feature in Baseline captures all the relevant water and weather data when you record a catch. Wondering about run timing? The app now has integrated catch statistics from state wildlife agencies. Literally any data you want, it’s in there. The developers commitment to continual improvement of this app is second to none. They are responsive and quick to add requested features. I’m blown away by how much they continue to improve. It takes a truly special person to take a fantastic app and keep growing it into something uniquely outstanding. I cannot recommend this app highly enough.

Amazing app. Period. It has all needed info for any given lake, river and ocean. The map has so many features that I dare you to try to use them all. Wouldn’t trade this app for anything.
Best Dang Outdoors App!
I used to bounce between a handful of apps to check river flows, regulations, weather, tide reports, clam digs, and everything else you need to know before hitting the road. I found Baseline back in January and have since deleted every other app I was using. It’s a true game changer. One spot for all of it. Simple, user-friendly, and I’d recommend it to any outdoorsman.
The best part? I’ve requested a bunch of features and they usually make it into the app within a week! Highly recommend.
