Bad editor
The program is great. The editor to type in programs makes it almost useless.
Just Wow
One of my first languages was basic. It helped launch me on the career I have today. This app brings back a lot of memories of sitting at night just coding up anything I could think about. This app is about as good as it gets for coding on IPad or IPhone. I use it one both. I have a python interpreter and a gui framework but, sometimes, I just want to code old school and this is the app that quenches my thirst!!

That was easy converted from my child years with retro computer’s manual book! No-one understand from that book but person can see how the coding list works from your app!

Found an old friend
I am in my 80’s. I got into computers and programming as soon as home computers arose. As slow as these programs ran, amazed at how fast and accurate the results were. Windows introduced object oriented operation adding more confusion etc, so I stuck with top-down C language. Computer processors grew and Basic fell into the dust, unable to run in the 32 and 64 bit processors. How nice to find this quality Basic package, I often run into mathematical projects. I could use a spread sheet, but for small or simple projects, this could be inconvenient. This Misoft Basic fills this need and conveniently runs on my iPad. Kudos to the developers.

Blast from the past
This little program is wonderful it reminds me of the early 80s when I had hair and great fun writing small programs and some large ones, I used basic to teach my daughter the time, mathematics etc and now I am going try to do the same with my grandson’s. It’s easy to use and great fun.
Does not work on iOS 14.4.2
Took my $4.00 but crashes moments after launch with no user interaction. Last copyright was 2019 — it is now May 2021. If the coder stopped developing and supporting the app, please stop taking people’s money and remove it from the App Store.

Defining functions doesn't work
The "DEF" command does not work. Developers support mailbox is full. Without the DEF command I can't do any meaningful computing. Please fix...

Using to teach my son
This is perfect for teaching my 9 year old BASIC language and teaching him logic as well as math and science. He really liked it from the get-go!

I so glad to say now that this app has been revised it’s GREAT again! It had been abandoned for a long time but it’s back and better than ever! I’m happy now.

This app now lives in my homepage after playing with it for a while. It has very nice features, and feels like a full-fledged programming environment.

This version of basic can do alot.
ITS BACK!
This is the greatest Basic compiler for IOS and I was very disappointed when it was no longer supported in iOS 11, but it’s back, the developer has returned (thank you).
Yay!! Updated!
Update: This app has finally been updated for iOS 11 and 12! I’m thrilled to be able to use all my old programs I wrote in here. It seemed like it had been abandoned, I’m so glad it wasn’t!
Old review:Unless it's updated, this app will not work at all anymore when iOS 11 releases this fall (or now for beta users!) this is the one 32 bit app I will most hate to lose when I update (and I have more than 600 apps). Please update basic soon! I'd hate to lose all my programs!

I used write basic code back in the day. I forgot how satisfying it can be. This app is very very well done.

Nice app that just not works anymore in the latest iOS versions. Contacted the developer and got no responses so far... :(
