Basketball Sim Ideas
Extra stats - Efficiency, Season Totals, OR+DR,
increase height disparities, more heights (up to like 7’3” and down to 5’9” or something like that)
actual starting lineup and backups instead of just more minutes and less minutes
assign a player to multiple positions/depth chart, allows for 9 and 8 man systems instead of players with 40 minutes
more offensive styles,
defensive and offensive priorities, (go for steals, play more cautious, hog the paint, 5 out, go for offensive boards, disregard OR and get back, intercept passes, aggressive defense, passive defense, play through star player, hustle back on d, stop the ball in transition, guard the paint in transition,)
game predictions, betting line/score prediction
conference names?-members and names correlate with location?
preseason/postseason overview/ recap (lead scorer, rebounder, passer, best shooter, 3pt shooter, biggest win/loss, closest game, team highs,
player leaders and team leaders for each division or conference,
weights-affect players stats, (speed, strength, boxout/reb, vertical)
other ways to convince players to join-visits, personal meeting, scrimmage with team/meet the players, photo-op?,
new drills for practice, revamp practice?-(put multiple drills together for a daily practice, individual drills, drills with certain players,+ability to replay drills from previous days/drill presets)
