It’s not a genuine app , when you play against highest players it disconnects you and push the other higher rate player to win . Loads of cheating even though you buy from the store .

Bug fix
Pls fix the bug no one should still be shooting after the buzzer. It’s very sad to be winning and your opponent gets a shot way after the buzzer to win

Not worth the time
Full of bots and lots of cheaters. Got so far and even paid money for slam passes and now I can’t win hardly any challenges. Every time I open a bag a never get new items it’s always duplicates of what I already have so they give me 1000 coins instead. I’d rather have new items. I’ll never spend another dime on this game

Enough Is Enough — 5 Years Playing and the Cheating Has Gone Too Far

I’m genuinely disappointed with what Basketball Stars has become.
I’ve played this game for 5 years, so I’m not your average Joe jumping on for a few games and complaining because I lost. I’ve completed Career Stage 200, reached the maximum 266 stars, earned around 605 BILLION in career winnings, completed 99/99 achievements, and have even ranked 5th globally. I’m saying this to give some context on how long I’ve played and how seriously I know this game.
I genuinely do not mind losing. If someone beats me because they are more skilled, fair play to them. That is what competition is supposed to be about. What I cannot accept is cheating, exploits, ridiculous delays and matchmaking that makes the game feel unfair.
I was literally in the Season Cup finals. I had won 28 games and needed just TWO MORE WINS to win the Gold Season Cup. Then I was matched with the same player I had already reported TWICE for what I believe was blatant and scandalous cheating.
The worst part? The timer reached ZERO, I blocked their shot, and they STILL received the points.
How is that acceptable?
And how am I being matched with the exact same player again after reporting them twice? The matchmaking is genuinely terrible. If someone is repeatedly being reported for suspicious behaviour, there needs to be a proper system to investigate them instead of continuing to put them into matches with the same players.
And before anyone blames my connection — it wasn’t my internet. I was literally next to my Wi-Fi router with a full connection and 1000 Mbps internet. The delays and game desync are also horrendous. There are moments where it feels like you’re playing against the game itself rather than the opponent.
The cheating problem has been extreme for years, and that is one of the biggest reasons this game is so frustrating. I have been playing long enough to know the difference between someone being genuinely skilled and something clearly not being right.
There is also a serious pay-to-win advantage. I’m not saying players shouldn’t be able to spend money or that upgrades shouldn’t exist, but competitive matches should not feel like spending money gives you an advantage over someone who has put years of skill and time into the game.
The economy also needs serious attention. I currently have around 400 BILLION in-game cash and literally cannot spend it all. It just sits there and feels useless. Why can’t long-term players convert excess cash into gold, exchange it for something useful, or have some meaningful endgame use for it?
After five years of playing, I’ve essentially completed everything there is to complete. I still want this game to succeed, but there is a lot that needs to be sorted out.
I don’t expect every match to go my way. I don’t mind losing to someone who is genuinely better than me. That’s competition.
But cheating should NOT be tolerated.
In short:
