Fallen off a cliff

This app USED to be good. But coming back to it after 18 months out due to a COVID-cancelled season, it’s no longer got any functionality.

I can’t change teams, players… or rather, I can (but as soon as I close the app, everything has gone - including the game I just sat and statted).

I don’t know if there’s something better out there, but this has been going downhill since the move from the original version to “live” and has fallen right off a cliff since then.

Great concept poorly done

This app appears fantastic to use and can track every statistic I want. However, I've had nothing but glitches, from timing being off significantly ( our league restricts playing times and will punish teams severely so this is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!) to inability to connect multiple iPads (I am a software tester so ran some tests on iPads to verify connectability and versions etc). The live chat support has NEVER worked even during listed times PST. Emails from the customer support group are quite mean/rude. I would suggest not wasting your money on this app. I know I'll find a new app for tracking purposes next season.

Hi VSB45 we would love any feedback you can provide us with how we can improve. Within the app it is possible to track as many or few of the stats as you wish. Most pages also have a "Tour" button that will take you through a quick trip around the screen with explanation on how things work. Please feel free to reach me at support@hachisoft.com.

Mostly good

The gui and work flow is excellent. Clock doesn't work most of the time and doesn't let you adjust mid game (maybe due to bug). Stats output is ok but needs game score and also more such as best combo etc. Also no where to adjust the score or a stat if just need to adjust something missed.

Great potential but really buggy

Right now the substitution feature takes way too long, I'm using this app for NCAA games and I'm always behind due to the substitution page. For instance, it's great that it has the potential to track time played, that's a big stat that would be cumbersome for me to track manually. However, with the huge delays on substituting it creates a real difficulty accurately timing how long players have been on the floor.
That is the main issue, there are several other small UI/UX issues.

Kinda Weak

Player substitution takes waaaaaayyyy too long. The app hangs up on subs, and it causes about a 5 second delay to load the substitution page. Substitution needs to occur on the main page via press & hold or double-tap, rather than on a separate page.

The app also has several UX problems, typical of programmer-driven designs. And there are a couple places where content bleeds off the page (e.g. player roster) and should be inside a scroll view instead.

Consult with a UI designer, fix those bugs, and this will be a decent app. But as-is, the price is too high for unfinished work.

Online help

I had an issue exporting to Maxpreps, so I went online to Hachisoft and within seconds was conversing with a rep who assisted me in resolving the issue. I've got a manager recording stats during our games--the data is easy to input and easy to analyze.

Amazing product and support

I just got this to help my son's 6th grade team. Very fun to use. i couldnt figure out how to delete a fake game i created to practice and used the online support. the response was instantaneous and extremely helpful. The simplicity of this app and its ability to gather and present stat data by team, player, quarter or over multiple games is amazing. Some tweaks to be made but overall a great app.
