We've just looked at the crash reports and can confirm one user has experienced a crash out of 1000s this week. We assume it's you so sorry for the experience. It's so strange why just one person is affected, but nevertheless we will make a fix asap and update the version in the next couple of days.

Audio input from sound card

Do you plan to support audio input from external sound devices?

HI. I'm not sure what you mean. In Jam exercise, you can play background music files and improvise over it. Please get in touch with us at info@LearnToMaster.com so we can understand what you want.

Great interface, but for some reason it won’t output audio through AirPods. Bummer!

It was ok, but not for that much and I guess I don’t need it.

Crashes, won’t restore premium ver, no support

Purchased premium version. Got a phone call while using app (which I declined) and the app lost its sound. Then Crashed and wouldn’t open again. Black screen. Had to delete and re-install. The “restore” button on the “premium”page does not work. Supposed to pay again?!!! Support link on developers website is defunct. Inexcusable. DO NOT BUY THIS APP.

Unresponsive

App is in responsive. Lacks basic information, it just shows basic hand positions. Doesn’t show extended scales. All in all terrible experience.

This is incorrect. The app is very responsive with much work reducing the latency to a minimum. In Scales exercise, you can press the Position button to see various hand positions. In the Jam exercise, all the notes in a scale show so you can extend it as much as possible.

Nothing but ads

This is a terrible app. I kept tapping the different icons on the screen for Bass Line, Scales, etc and got nothing but ads. After several tries I just deleted it.

Sorry for the experience. There is a full page ad every 2 mins to support the developers. We recommend the Premium version which has no ads and all the content.

Waste of time

App crashes, has obnoxious ads (didn’t i pay to download this?), the scales games dont really make sense, even on easy. Discouraged from exploring the app further because of the hectic video ads whenever i click any new function. Id be much better off just improvising on the bass itself

Here's a tutorial fo Scales Game: https://youtu.be/oKhRXhH_7UE?t=135 Essentially, press play button and app tells you what scale to play. You play that scale. App tells you whether you are correct or not.

Bug

This app came with a bug to open a solitaire game. Would not let you out. Beware!! I deleted the app and will not try again.

Moving fret board

This app would be 11 out of 10 if there was an option to lock the fretboard in place so you could see the nut. The moving fretboard is a right pain as you have to recalibrate the position of the frets every time. Still a great app though.

You can adjust the fretboard in the settings, so you can see the guitar neck. Alternatively you can get Bass Guitar Tutor Pro which doesn't have any ads.

Nice

Finished the lessons on the fender app for bass and needed a reliable source for chords and scales. This is perfect. I’d like to the see the bass patterns broken down. I hit play and it goes through the whole thing.

Thanks. You can break the bass patterns down. Simply press the numbers icon and choose which notes to focus on.

First time I change from one thing to another...and a partisan political ad popped up. Deleted immediately. Good riddance.

This app is perfect if you are starting

ive been a musician for 15 years or so and I learned first guitar by ear and then got into bass,and if you are starting to learn this app is for you Or if you are good already it doesn’t matter the content is very solid and easy for learning and practicing.if you are new I encourage you to buy it it will shape your skills and teach you

Perfect for newbies

I love this little app! I’m a new bass player so it helps me with scales etc. Even tho playing an actual line or riff or whatever is more advanced than me, I can still pick some of the easier ones and play it at the end of my daily practicing. Gives me incentive lol

Upside down and useless

Autorotate does not work, and this app appears to be hard coded upside-down. Many people (like me) use iPads with a smart case, ie landscape orientation with the home button to the right. This app appears upside down in a smart case and will not rotate. I cannot speak to the actual worth of the app since I cannot even use it.

Update: Thank you for the bug fix. I will now attempt to use the app and see what I think.

Incredible Responsive Support

I love the app and the company truly stands behind their products. I told them about a nuisance problem that actually did not affect the usability of the app.
2 days later the nuisance issue is fixed.
