I think that this game would be better if the person playing the game would be able to work up in the ranks from level 1-20 without having to purchase anything in game

I'd love to make everything free, but I'm an indie developer and my apps are how I make my living. That means I either need to have some things that require a purchase, or fill the game with ads. I for one find games full of ads really annoying, so I'm keeping this ad-free, and I rely on those who can afford to spend a few dollars to support my work.

So I think this game needs to add different fish. I’m getting sick of just bass please add northern or walleye or something please overall I like this game

Bass Tourney Challenger

This is a great game, as well as every other game pishtech. I think this game is perfect. It’s a fun arcade style fishing game with tons of rods, lures, boats, and fish. My only suggestion would be more species like striped bass, white bass, spotted bass, etc. But besides that this is a great game that’s loads of fun.

Thanks for your review! I may add some more bass species besides the smallmouth and largemouth in a future update. There are pike in some lakes at higher levels, and eventually I'd like to get muskies, crappie and some other species in there for variety, even if the tournaments are focused on the bass.

One thing I don’t like about this game

The one thing I don’t like about this game is it won’t let me go to level 5

Great game!

This is a really great and simple game with a ton of fun lakes to fish and lots of variety. The only suggestion I have is to maybe expand the bass selection past largemouth and smallmouth, and possibly add white and yellow bass, maybe hybrid stripers/stripers and spotted bass. Other than that, it’s awesome!

Super fun

Pretty fun way to pass time. Controls make sense, it’s consistent and the different levels make it interesting. Only issue I see is I can’t get the game to link between iPad and iPhone. I’m on like level 22 on phone and level 1 on iPad. Wish it linked somehow

Addictive and good game, but can’t level up.

I love this game. It starts out fairly slow but once you can be in a boat it really gets fun. However I am trying to level up to level 5 but every time I do it tells me the app can’t connect to the App Store. Please fix!!!

Yes, the game is currently free up to level 4. Any purchase unlocks all the rest of the levels. As an independent app developer I can't make all the of content in my games free, at least not without packing the games with ads. I feel most games go way over the top with ads, interrupting the game and showing a video every few minutes. Rather than ruin the experience like that I chose to keep ads out of this game but instead require a one-time purchase to unlock the higher levels. I appreciate your feedback, and I hope you'll understand why I chose to use purchases rather than ads in this game.

Best bass game

I’ve read a lot of the reviews and personaly I hope that y’all don’t change it. Just make a new game if your gonna make drastic changes. Leave this one like it is.

Great game

Reminds me of vr sport fishing game is kinda unrealistic how 12lb braid can break other than that the game is amazing

Some elements of this game did indeed develop from VR Sportfishing. The line breaking in this one depends on a lot of factors, including the action and quality of the rod and reel. Strong line might let you down on a big fish if the reel's drag isn't smooth. The rod and reel quality keeps improving as you move to higher levels. Thanks so much for your feedback!

Good until you pay.

The lakes loaded fine and all was smooth, but after you pay to continue they fail to load. I emailed the developer twice but no response.

Coolest bass fishing game to date!!!

The people who made this game did an unbelievable job at making this as close to really bass fishing as a game can get. When u progress u unlock some really cool stuff that’s legit. I’m a real life bass fishing junkie and when I can’t be on the boat I’m playing this game! I am having a problem with one of the tournament lakes at the selection stage , every time not loading and causing game to lock up.

Absolutely excellent game!

Love, love this game! It’s not perfect yet, but glad to pay a few bucks to support a bass fishing game that isn’t overly obsessed with casting, fish fighting, and 3-D. This game absolutely reminds me of the pier gameplay of black bass when I was a kid. I can’t wait to see what improvements are made in the future, and what a version two of this might look like.

Thanks for your review! The next update will allow players to compete in any tournaments up to their current level, not only at the level they're at. Of course you'll only be able to use equipment up to the level of the tournament to keep it fair. This will mean a level 20 player will have 40 different tournaments available at any given time, which should make for some interesting competition for the leader boards. Overall good game

I love this game. The only issue is when trying to install new lake, it hangs up halfway sometimes and I am stuck at level 16.

Very Unrealistic

I fought a fish (bass) on this game for 25 minutes and my line snapped! Unless I’m using the worlds most poorly constructed ultralight rod and reel (which I was not, Lv. 3 bait caster), there is no reason any fish on this game should take longer than 3-5 minutes to reel in. Before anyone gets an ideas to make an app/game, do the correct research on said subject matter, ridiculous!

Thanks for the report. At level 3 of 20, some of the tackle is still pretty light-duty compared to the upper levels, and it's possible you hooked into a real monster bass on fairly light line. The vast majority of fish you hook can be landed in under a minute.

Great game!

Honestly I first got this game loved it, it’s sorta realistic for mobile. Multiple different items maps levels, and it just got released and it’s super underrated. I love that’s it’s from some smaller developers and all the kinks arnt worked out but they will be great game love it!

great game really fun and addicting but i just wish bigger bass was added to the game the biggest i’ve caught so far has been 4.78 pounds i wish there was 5-10 pounders added
